Finally decided to trek down to Amoy Street Food Centre to try the legendary Singapore Style Ramen from A Noodle Story. I have to say that this is a very well thought out bowl of noodles. For me, the highlights were definitely the charsiew and crispy potato wrapped prawn. The onsen egg was also perfectly executed with an awesome runny yolk—can see why this place earned a Michelin bib gourmand.

Although the bowl was unreal, I question whether it is truly worth the 30 minute queue and premium price tag ($7-9). Definitely recommend trying it at least once however I am not sure how soon I will return!

A thick and fluffy stack of blueberry pancakes served with homemade warm apple butter. This stack of 3 can easily be split between two people, making the $18++ price tag a steal.

These pancakes are truly simplicity at it's finest therefore I can understand why these have been voted "best in the city" twice by New York Magazine.

P.s. The chicken and waffles were also to die for! If going with friends, I would suggest getting both and sharing.

The Druggie: chocolate pancakes lathered in chocolate sauce and topped with strawberries and whipped cream—truly a chocolate lovers dream 😍

This was the 2 pancake stack which is $1 less than the regular 3 pancakes. For me, this was more than enough food!
