Hanabi Maki This hanabi maki is less dramatic than usual, due to less tenkasu. But it's still my favourite maki here.

Aburi Salmon Miso Maki & Royal Glory Maki My first time trying the one on the right. It uses purple rice, ebi, cucumber, peach and mango sauce.

Buta Shio & Chicken Teriyaki Edible but not their strongest suit.

sesame chicken noodle ($7.90) & herbal chicken noodle ($7.90) the mains: sesame chicken noodle was really flavourful and packed with a strong ginger and sesame taste, was pretty good but after a while it can be a bit too much. herbal chicken noodle was disappointing because the soup was quite bland and the shredded chicken was dry and tough. the sides: the seaweed fries didnt really have much seaweed taste tbh but the fried shiitake mushrooms were super good!!!! the drinks: honey milk tea had a very old school vibes but wasnt that good tbh. jasmine peach tea was rly refreshing though! for the price.. we might be back again to try their other dishes, who knows!

Valued For Money They ran out of lu rou fan during lunch time and we ordered honey chicken rice instead. It was a tad too bland for our liking. The oyster mee sua was good and the yan su ji was savoury and not too oily as well. It's worth to try with one for one deal where it included a main, snack and drink.

Taiwanese Food Food was good and value for money! Ordered brown sugar grass jelly milk tea and it was 👍🏼

For 1-for-1 Main Dish (save ~$10) Work's out, and drinks are in order. Enter this bar housed in Ocean Financial Centre, complete with bar bites to fuel your tummy before the drinks sesh. The tender, chunky Spicy Crispy Chicken ($12) should do the trick. Spicy Crispy Chicken ($12) This was a pretty good snack to wash down with a beer; crisp, salty chunks of tender chicken. The Thousand Island sauce served alongside with it seemed a little weird, but nothing to complain about this. Available with #BurppleBeyond.

Pizza Margherita ($15) Some bar bites to go along with your booze, this isn’t really the pizza you’d expect though it does taste alright. Pizza sauce with melted cheese on top of focaccia is tasty enough, though really quite filling so make sure you share this with a buncha people! Available with #BurppleBeyond.

Chou a la crème Of course, their signature Chou a la crème ($5.80 each) is a must-order! I was in love since the very first time I had their cream puff at the previous spot along Telok Ayer Street. The crunchy nougatine studded with the pastry cream was really the best part - the fun contrasting textures and the sweet nutty flavour. The thin, kinda biscuit-like, crispy exterior and creamy smooth cream complete with specks of vanilla bean were also chef’s kisses.

Peach Tart Ughh take my money!  Though I was there primarily for their ‘Buy 3 get 1 free’ Choux promotion last week, Pantler's seasonal Peach Tart ($12.90) got my whole attention. And it was so freaking good, I practically inhaled it. Felt super lucky as I got the last one on display, the juicy doughnut peach tasted so fresh and sweet. The vanilla custard?/ pastry cream? hidden in the center of the fruit was so yummy. The light Chantilly cream at the very top was a lovely touch too and added that delicate milky fragrance to the handmade crust.

Pastries I understand that most people would come here for their cakes, but they also offer plenty of pastries here as well; which I can take away. It is actually very hard to choose considering there’s many options available on display. I gotten their popular Chou a la crème, spiced fruit pound cake slice and matcha doughnut. Their chou a la crème is a light and crispy chou pastry, filled with pastry cream. Pound cake slice and doughnut available in few flavours.

Sweet potato Jjajangmyeon - 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐣𝐣𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐦𝐲𝐞𝐨𝐧 ($16.90 alacarte) - Classic twist on the usual savory noodles with generous topping of crisp sweet potato shavings. Added a nice textural contrast and sweetness; def worth a try once but personally prefer the classic slurpworthy rendition.

Tangsuyuk 𝟕-𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 & 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐤 ($33.90) - Eye-catching Tangsuyuk with fresh greens, paired with 4 homemade sauces of differing sweet, sour, spicy nature. Pork pieces were addictive with crispy light batter and tender meat.

OBBA Jjajang😋 Went to OBBA Jjajang 2 weeks ago and ordered their Kimchi Stew, Steamed Egg, and Jjajangmyeon (~$40 for 2 pax)!😇 Overall ratings 10/10! Loved their food as always and the kimchi stew is so flavourful😍 Would definitely head back again

Mentai Cheese Mazesoba The noodles were very chewy. It is more like udon than soba. The sauce wasnt jelat but couldnt really taste the cheese. The soup was bland. If there is leftover sauce, can request for rice to mix it. Overall, normal bowl of noodles.

Mazesoba Original mazesoba ($11.80) ⭐️ 3.5/5 ⭐️ 🍴Was craving some dry ramen and this satisfied with the homemade thick and al-dente soba noodles, creamy onsen egg, along with textural mix of ingredients of tender minced meat and crunchy fresh greens. The Kokoro sauce was a tad watered down and could be spicier (found myself adding some chili powder to amp it up) but enjoyed the flavours altogether with added tang from the vinegar. Also appreciated the option of less noodles for more vegetables for a less carb-heavy dish. Added on the value set for $4.20 that includes a choice of side and drink. Preferred the crispy and juicy karaage over the chef’s special curry croquette (crispy but could do with stronger curry flavour). Ngl I kinda prefer it that way, stops dine and dash incidents too. The best part was that the price reflected on the menu was the nett price, so I didn’t have to do the math 😀 The patty within the burger was tender and beefy, while the egg and bacon added that extra oomph to the dish. Tamari Glaze Chicken $11.90 nett Juicy chicken thigh with crisp skin but a little salty. The wakame udon was simple but satisfying. It resembled thick ramen more than udon. Broccoli side was normal. Order & pay thru the QR code so you can walk off right after eating

Well breaded and fried without being too oily Good value, this restaurant is a sister brand of astons. Plenty of seats on a sunday afternoon, with nice natural light. Meat patty (not pictured) was huge without batter being too thick

Basic single patty 19.8nett Still tastes like a atas big Mac or sth, it's quite good, very satisfying and well balanced

Smashed burger triple patty 21.8nett The edges were good, super complex but it only lasts awhile. The centre wasn't very crisp or complex and is quite dry from the sticky cheese, which is quite funny If you must get this, get extra onions to balance out the dryness.

Basic burger 19.8 This is the fattier patty, it tastes like a big Mac on steroids. Very good as well Idk if it's good enough to warrant a trip to this uluness, but if you do make your way, you will be greeted by very satisfying burgers. But idk if u should expect the best and then disappoint yourself potentially

Super well balanced and not pretentious The service here is excellent . And every single dish we ordered was amazing .

Apple galette The apple was nicely cooked down with sufficient softness and tasted tart. The ice cream was soft and decadent too. Overall the best dish of the night! The corse sugar and cinnamon was the icing on the cake. Wine selection at this restaurant was good too!

Beef with onion pie The beef was over cooked and lacked flavours. If you are expecting melt in your mouth steak, this is not it. The leaks were undercooked so were the onion on the pie. For $90, you can definitely get better beef else where.
