The Molten Lava Cake is a must try at this cafe. The richness of the molten chocolate, the delicate balance of the cake neither being too hard or soft...

....and the sight of the chocolate flowing out so viscously....totally mesmerizing and breathtaking.

Just like meeting your first love. Rated by me 11/10.

Fried fish had an interesting batter, that did not become soggy despite being soaked in the sauce for 10minutes, and enhanced the sweetness of the fish fillet. The chicken and pork were not over cooked or burnt, but the sauce served was abit too strong and masked the natural taste of the marinated meat. Sauce wasn't too spicy with pepper, and dish was served with huge portion of onions, which made the dish sweet with a dash of spiciness. Abit hefty at a price of 10 dollars, considering its not so fantastic portion.

The rainbow cake has a different flavor on each layer. The end result: a cake that tastes very much like a bubble gum...similar to the Rowntree's Fruit Pastilles (a popular brand of sweets in the 90s). The creme brûlée, tasted pleasant, with a right mix of sweetness and burnt aftertaste on the cream. Rated 8.5/10 for both.

The lor bah noodle was delightfully savory, and although the dish contained two to 3 pieces of the stewed meat, they were big in portion and balanced well with the noodles and its other ingredients. The meatballs in the soup tasted fresh, and not overtly salty and overcooked. The wings were lightly marinated and fried, so I tasted more of the chicken and less of the batter and oil. Rated 8/10 in my books!

Dish was flavor-fully done. Not too salty or overtly salty. Eggs were soft and marinated thoroughly, while the yolk literally melted in my mouth. The meat was tender, not overly far and not hard from over-cooking.

Pasta was freshly done with its own unique taste and style (unlike commercialized pastas out there). Omelette looked dry, but looks but can be deceiving. The inside was soft and wet, and absolutely goes well with the garlic bread served with it. Absolutely heavenly!

The soup base is not too salty, yet savory. The noodles were springy and ingredients were fresh and in abundance. The chilli and the small limes enhanced the taste very much. In summary, there was no drop in quality of food, except it tastes less oily as compared to before (before renovations)

Average presentation and taste. Nothing spectacular. Quiet and pleasant ambience, friendly staff. Overall rated 3/5.

Dish was savory and unexpectedly good. Ambience was bright and cheery. A hidden gem from the hustle and bustle of Orchard.

Consist of 3 cakes available at counter, one standard glass dessert, one cupcake, and two macrons. Rainbow Cakes and Red Velvet were not overpowering and not too "heavy". Macrons were nicely done: not too soft or sugary. The dessert in the glass was made of a refreshing fruit (tastes like jackfruit). The carrot cake was the only one that tasted heavy, but it was good.
