Noodles and sauce were a tad starchy that day. But still yummy! Maybe we arrived too early for lunch. I am full with this small bowl of noodles. They have a soup version and a laksa version. I honestly think their soup version is not too bad. Kind of light but still tasty. My friend claims there is a fish maw taste but I don't taste anything like this.
Waffles were kind of soggy. Think the ice cream was overwhelming! $16.5. They don't seem to serve water any more.

Ebi temaki is nice and warm with crispy fried flour though prawn is a bit overcooked. Sushi came with little rice, but the sashimi covers it completely, which is the proper way of doing sushi. Sashimi is nice here. Spent about almost 30 bucks. Sushi comes in minimum order of 2. The show the price of one on the menu.

Rice is served warm. Thank god. Pretty nice and healthy meal I feel. But I suspect the brown rice gave me indigestion. 9 bucks. Not too bad.
It's called miam miam made from scratch. I ordered the riz noir. Squid ink rice with seafood and omelette. Not too bad. Oily at the bottom, probably olive oil or that kind of oil? Ordered coffee too. Water is chargeable at 50 cents. Spent about 26.
Sausage was a tad cold but order came really fast. Coleslaw wasn't that fantastic actually. Saw somebody else's fish and chips and it was huge. Would like to try that some day. They gave 2 packs of chilli.
Was craving for this. Was pretty good! But found the oysters a bit smelly. Not sure whether it's just my taste buds.

The quality of the food is good. Nothing taste bad in the bento set.
Just a warning: they serve edamame to you even if you order, and it costs $4.
Just find the food pricey and probably only the sets are worth your money.
Cafe de Hongkong
Items ordered: fish roe fried rice, braised lamb, milk tea, long beans, fried fish skin.
Cost: about $70.
I love the braised lamb. The gravy is yummy yummy. And there are mushrooms and tow key soaked in the gravy. Absolute yums. Goes very well with rice too. It's $25 per pot but it's worth it!
The fish roe fried rice didn't live up to my expectation though. Doesn't really burst in my mouth all that much and a tad oily.
Long beans are not too bad, but still prefer Asia kitchen's.
Fried fish skin. $10. Da bomb!
Milk tea. Da bomb too! Super milky.
Will go back for the braised lamb and the milk tea.
Cheese prata and plain and a cup of teh halia. Have grown to love this restaurant. Prata is crispy. Love their tasty curry! Teh halia is full of ginger, very shiok. Ask for less sweet.
