Ate here on 3/9 and we ordered the crabmeat pasta and baby back ribs.
The baby back ribs were a real disappointment.. it was not only dry and tough, the potato wedges were not flavored .. we were not able to finish the ribs because it was so dang dry.. I think you can tell from the photo as well of how dry the meat was.
Easily the worse ribs I have ever eaten..
Food: 3/5 (star of the show was the crab meat pasta, it would have went to 4/5 if it wasn’t for the ribs…)
Price: 4/5 (with burpple it amounted to $17/person)
Place: 3/5 convenience wise, it’s not very accessible, with the place being small in general, and we were limited to 1 hour dining time..
Ate here on 3/9 and we ordered the crabmeat pasta and baby back ribs.
The crabmeat pasta was so delicious, it has chunky crab meat and the most amazing savory sauce.
This pasta was worth every penny.
However the baby back ribs were a real disappointment.. it was not only dry and tough, the potato wedges were not flavored .. we were not able to finish the ribs because it was so dang dry..

Steak was really good, medium just like how we ordered :)
There’s also an option to choose how you would like your eggs .
Menu said this can feed 1-2 person.
In my humble opinion, this could only feed 1.
The slice of sourdough was very thin, barely had enough for 1 person, but when paired with the strawberry chia jam, the combination was heavenly.
The mushrooms were well seasoned, and the scrambled eggs were creamy.
Very very expensive even with burpple.
Totally not worth the price, if you ask me.
Place was very small, only able to fit in 6 people in the whole cafe..
Food: 4/5
Price: 2/5 (not worth the value)
Place: 1/5 (very small cafe)
This French toast is easily one of the best French toasts I have ever tasted.
The toast is soft and chewy, paired with the light and airy cream, tart berries. An absolute delight.
Food: 4/5
Place: 3/5 (very small dining area)
Price: 5/5 (very worth it)
Got this as part of the burpple 1 for 1 deal.
Had to get the crepe cake as part of the deal - which is not worth they money (read earlier review).
However this Yuzu osmanthus cake was the saving grace of the entire menu.
It was light and refreshing, totally different from the Mille crepe cake.
If you would like to try this cake, I recommend you not to get the burpple beyond deal, and get it ala carte.
They have different promos if you’re getting the cakes separately.
Food: 2/5 (because of this particular cake)
Price: 1/5
Place: 2/5
Used burpple beyond here.
Had to choose the Mille crepe cake with another cake for 1 for 1.
Turned out to be one of the worst cakes I’ve ever tried.
The cake had no depth, and ?vanilla flavor was not strong. Felt like I was eating plain crepe with unsweetened cream. Not worth the price.
10/10 would not recommend getting this cake.
You would definitely be much better off with Lady M’s crepe cake at similar the price.
Chamomile tea is $8.50 per cup, and under burpple, you are not allowed to refill hot water. Wow.
Food: 1/5
Price: 1/5 ($7.90 for a tasteless Crepe cake was very expensive.)
Place: 2/5
Overall, 10/10 would not recommend.
THIS WAS WHAT WE CAME FOR.
This has to be hands down the BEST French toast I have ever tasted in my life.
Firstly the toast was laden with loads of fresh fruits - makes it look aesthetically appetizing .
Secondly, the toast had a layer of sugar that was caramelized which gives it a beautiful crunchy texture as you pierce your fork in for a bite .
Thirdly, the fresh sweet cream that came at the side adds a sweet touch to the toast which is not overtly sweet. The cream is also whipped with fresh vanilla which adds a very subtle and fragrant taste.
All in all, this place is worth a visit JUST for the brûlée French toast. 10/10 recommend.
Food: 5/5 - only for the French toast.
Price: 4/5
Place: 3/5 (as per previous post)
Had the opportunity to visit here today on a Sunday for brunch.
Wanted to use burpple, so chose two dishes that were of the same price on the menu.
Ordered the truffle egg proscuitto and impossible shakshouka.
The truffle egg proscuitto did not disappoint. The truffle flavor was so strong and was tasted throughout every bite. But towards the end, the taste was really overpowering that one can’t taste anything else apart from truffle.
The only down side to this was that the brioche bread was soft. I think it was designed this was , except that I personally think it would pair better with toast~
There was a queue here, so be expected to wait..
Food: 3/5 - for brunch, it’s not impressive to be honest.
Place: 3/5 - about 10 minutes walk from botanical gardens, but very limited seats. Friends who came later at 12-ish were told to wait about 1 hour.
Price: 3/5 - not cheap, even with burpple one for one.
And only have 45 minutes of dining time after food is served. Hmmm..
Tried 2 of their pasta this time round with Burpple beyond ~ else the pricing will be on the costly side.
Food is fresh and tasty, could really taste the garlic and the freshness of the clam in the clam pasta. Mushroom cream pasta had an unique taste. Drinks was unique but a little too sweet.
Ambience was nice and cozy.
Food: 4.5/5
Price: 4/5
Place: 5/5
This was such a good bowl of noodles. The broth was naturally sweet with a very rich seafood flavor. The braised pork ribs were so soft that even their tendons could be bitten through very easily.
10/10 recommend the shrimp broth.
Food: 5/5 (I’ve never tasted such soft and flavorful pork ribs)
Price: 4/5 (now with 20% discount for certain card holders)
Place: 5/5 (conveniently in vivo city, with big enough seatings)
The chicken thigh was large and tender, but the cheese wasn’t melted at all - which showed that the burger was cold, and the bun was not Toasted..
The chicken was also too salty TBH.
Though... There was a generous portion of fries which was hot and crispy, and became the highlight of this dish, which tbh, is kinda sad.
