I apologise for the title as I'm not exactly sure what the official dish name is. But rest assured if you order "600 grams of the beef" they will understand what you mean. The bite-sized beef tastes even better than it looks. I'd recommend using only the salt dip and ignore the rest. Oh and have I mentioned, it also comes with a plate of fried rice that is cooked with the juice from the beef! (Rating:ð)
Still my favourite Wanton Mee despite the $0.50 increase in price. The best thing is that there's no queue anymore and the auntie seems to always be in a good mood now. The sauce/soup base is extremely tasty, and the noodle is light and springy! (Rating:ð)
Consistently good, sauces are nice, only thing is that you've to add $0.80 if you want vegetables. (Rating:ð)
Great for a cold day. Shrimp dumplings were tasty, would have liked the broth to be stronger. (Rating:ð)
The braised beef was nice and tender, the sauce was good as well. However, I think it would taste even better with the more popular noodle option. (Rating:ð)
The only affordable place to get my Currywurst fix! (Rating:ðŽ)
Very generous portion, tasty, not as seasoned/salty as Teppei. But go during the lunch service and not at the end of it because they have this weird if-I-run-out-of-something-it's-fine-and-I-hope-you-never-find-out service. And if you're not full from it, you can get the delicious Banana cake from Revolution Coffee next door. (Rating:ðŽ)
One of the more popular stalls in Serangoon. Not exactly generous with the prawns and fish cakes, but the soup is on point so I can't complain. (Rating:ð)
Still one of the better Japanese curry rice. Thick enough to be delicious, but not enough to get sick of it. Whoever did the multiples of curry levels definitely doesn't subscribe to my mantra of small steps. Though it proved to be quite entertaining especially when you have gutsy friends who ended up asking for a whole container of ice water. Note to self: No more level 4 curry, and no more extra curry. Not the best. But good enough for one-north's standard. (Rating:ð)
This being the second plate of Chicken Rice I've eaten today, Tian Tian (å) Chicken Rice seems to be an apt description of my day. I haven't ate at the Maxwell's branch for the longest time, but for zero percent of the queue I'd say this is a good option. Note that it closes early at around 7:45pm in the evening. (Rating:ð)
Cheap option for lunch. The portion for additional liver is out of control. But don't expect too much else. (Rating:ð)
