My photo is bad. There is more meat inside. One of six choices in their lunch menu. Good value for money. (Rating:π¬)
ALWAYS GET THE CUTLET. Itβs a less spicy, more fragrant version of the McSpicy patty. Donβt need Nasi Lemak burger if you got this. (Rating:π¬)
Hearty breakfast porridge. Sambal is spicy and delicious. Probably one of the healthier dish you can get at Geylang Serai. The stall is facing the clothing section of the market. (Rating:π¬)
No frills Nasi Lemak hidden in ICA. Halal. (Rating:π)
One of the must-orders. The pasta was al dente, and there was a generous amount of clams, sauce was garlicky, although it could be spicier. (Rating: π)
Crispy on the outside, pretty good. Wish there was more butter. Add-ons available. (Rating: π)
Not too jelat, good for kids. The place is pretty chill, staff were friendly, and even though there were lots of kids, it wasnβt noisy at all because of the open space. (Rating:π)
FatBoys has gone halal under the name FatPapas! They operate out of a two-story shophouse along Bali Lane. It is opened till 11pm every day, so if you don't feel like eating murtabak, this is a good alternative nearby.
I ordered what I'd usually order at FatBoys, the Wimpy, and it tasted as good as the non-halal version. The thick and juicy patty, turkey bacon, and sesame bun complimented each other very well.
A good portion of the menu items are the same as FatBoys though there are some differences. The biggest one is that they don't have the Fat Basterd, which is basically a double patty Wimpy. You can still add a patty if you wanted to but at a slightly more expensive price. (Rating:π¬)
The egg tarts were a little tiny, and tasted like what youβd expect, Iβd say stick with the KFC ones. (Rating:π)
It tasted really nice, although the insides were a little too mushy for me. (Rating:π)
It came in quite a big portion, and the porridge tasted very flavourful, couldn't stop eating. Need to add a normal egg to the porridge the next time Iβm there. (Rating:π)
