16 Macaroons $24

Managed to try all flavours with this deal. Macaroons were really pretty, in posh packaging, really pleasant to the eyes before indulging in them. Can’t really remember all the flavours but my fav was the dark chocolate one, it’s fragrant and chewy just the way I like them. A great deal for Beyond!

Hojicha Latte
Iced Matcha Latte

My favourite cafe to grab good coffee and drinks in the neighbourhood. Very cozy and popular cafe that’s hard to get a seat even during the weekdays. Nonetheless, the drinks are superb and staffs are friendly. Most imptly, it’s a good deal on Beyond!

Chicken Pot Pie $15
Mentaiko Pasta $16
Iced Cafe Latte $6
Ice Yuzu Barley $7

Visits Jem at least once per week but only found out about this chill cafe at level 6, completely away from all the shops at the roof top garden. Thanks to Beyond only paid $23 at the end. Chicken Pot Pie was a pleasant surprise the pot pie was buttery and crispy, and went really well with the chicken and spinach. Mentaiko pasta taste as what it is, really like that the mentaiko taste was not overpowering and I got to enjoy up till the last month. We really enjoyed the chill ambience, will definitely visit again!

Crispy Fish Fillet Tacos $25
Spicy Crab Meat Linguine $26

Fish fillets in tacos were fresh and flavourful, mango salsa was refreshing for the palate. Serving with fries and greens competes the meal.
Crab meat linguine was filled with flavours of crab but was abit too strong for me till it’s a bit fishy, spicy ness level was just right though. Very worth and affordable with Beyond deal. Coffee was great too!

Pandan
Avocado Gula Melaka

Pretty interesting combination and flavours for Swissrolls but not really to our liking as swissroll wasn’t fluffy and fillings inside was not smooth and tend to be on the sweeter side. Not sure cause I got the wrong flavours or not. Also the price, probably won’t try without Beyond.

Kasespatzle (Cheese Spatzle) $21
Bauernwurst $20

Total: $24.72(+ service charge & gst)

First time trying Brotzeit, didn’t disappoint. Though the cheese in cheese spatzle has slightly hardened when we got home, it was savoury on the mild side, cheese was fragrant and dish wasn’t sickening towards the end. Bauernurst was slightly oily and salty for me, nonetheless it was juicy and satisfying. Potatoes were soft and well marinated and roasted. Sourness from purple cabbage takes the oiliness away, was quite refreshing. Pretty worth with Beyond deal, will come back but dine in so can enjoy the food while still hot.

Hands down the best teobboki ($9.90)I have tried in Singapore. Teobboki sauce is not too spicy but on the sweeter side, rice cakes were chewy yet soft. The mozzarella really complements the sauce well, price is on the higher side but for the quality think it’s worth. Original Kimbap ($8.90) can’t go wrong, and it’s the best combi to the teobboki. Currently they are having the promotion of $2 off when purchasing bingsu and teobboki together.

Aglio & Olio Prawn $17
Cipolla & Pancetta Pizza $19

Great place to chill after work here, staffs were efficient and friendly. Portion was big for both the pizza and pasta. The Aglio & Olio with Prawn was slightly oily but was well seasoned and penne was cooked to the right texture. Cipolla & Pancetta Pizza was simple yet hearty, crust was thin but filled with ingredients. Onions in the pizza really brought out the flavour of the mozzarella and bacon. Items on menu offered for 1-1 was extensive, and price after discount was really reasonable, forseeing a second visit soon!

Had a simple yet fufilling lunch at this cozy joint located at Sim Lim Square. The special pork boat noodles ($6.60) was really hearty with clear but flavouful soup. Spicy level and the type of noodles were to be chosen by customer. Had the glass noodle and got the best combo as the glass noodle was chewy and comforting and didnt absorbed most of the most towards the end. Added a pinch of dried chilli flakes for more flavour. Thai Ice Tea completed the meal, requested for lower sugar level but still tasted superb!

Nothing beats a comforting bowl of soupy macaroni with luncheon meat, sunny side up eggs and ham. Resturant got really crowded after 12pm, need to queue about 5 - 10 mins for a seat. Overall, there's no complains on the food cause they just tasted like how they looked. It looks ordinary but somehow it satisfy your cravings.

Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich $10.90
Creamy Seafood Fusilli $14.90

No crowd on a Saturday late morning, great place to chill. Honey mustard chicken sandwish was not bad, bread was soft , ingredients were fresh with quite a big side of salad (lol sorry the sandwich was blocking in the photo). But its on the sweeter side so it got a bit sickening till the end. Creamy seafood pasta was rich, could have more seafood for this price range. But I am getting it at 1-1 so I shall not complain much. Not a bad place to chill though the main dishes up for 1-1 are limited.
