Went on a Monday, I think, when there was a promotion ($15 for 2 bowls of chirashi). The place wasn’t that crowded but our food took almost 30 minutes to arrive!! And when the bowls came, we were shocked to see how small they were. Probably would have been more worth it to use the Burpple 1-1 instead, but oh well. Was not a good experience for us.

Nice ambience and great pastry (key lime pie)! The coffee (especially the latte), however, was not so great... Perfect place for a mid-day catch-up, if only the coffee was better.

Love everything about this dish - from the sesame rice, to the fresh veggies, to the lion mane mushroom (my fav), the soy nuggets and the tasty soup! Nutritious, healthy and tasty vegetarian food.

Great prawn mee!! Broth is flavourful and they give about 2 big prawns, 1 smaller prawn and lots of clams fr the $8 bowl! If you order this on GrabFood, the noodles and beansprout will come separately from the soup which is a PLUS! The only gripe I have is that they don’t seem to clean the beansprouts :’(

Ordered the $9.90 bowl with spicy salmon sashimi and added $1 for the egg. The ingredients were fresh (especially the fish)! However, the portions are small, so it won’t really fill you up.

Firstly, we went bc there seemed to be some promotion going on that day (if I remember, it was spend $60 and above and get $20 off). We were the first few in queue, but they had a terrible queue management system with awfully inefficient staff who just couldn’t handle the crowd. There were tables available but they weren’t moving the queue for reasons not immediately apparent. A female waitstaff refused to show us to a seat before we ordered...mm okay... To be fair, the meats were of good quality. That’s about all the good I can say about Seorae. Maybe we didn’t see the fine print at first, but the $20 off didn’t apply to the order before gst n service but after. That makes a difference bc we paid a lot more than what we thought we would have been paying. Save to say, we will never be visiting again.

These people will STUFF the SHIT out of ur wrap/ fill the HECK out of ur salad. It’s not cheap ($9.50 for basic DIY wrap) but it’s going to fill you up! They’re extremely generous with the ingredients.

Coffee (iced mocha) was great! The almond croissant was more of a cake than a croissant - which can be a pleasant surprise or a nightmare, depending on your personal preferences. Nice place to take pictures (as evident from the ladies beside us who were taking pictures for a good hour at least 😅)

Fresh $1++ per piece oysters made our bellies incredibly happy. Paired with a happy hour drink (we got the house pint and Rose Prosecco) and it was absolutely sinful. Beautiful views of the city, and when we went we were able to catch the sunset as we slurped down our oysters. We ordered the fish n chips - nothing amazing. Just head down for the oysters!

The $9.90 set is so incredibly worth it! Comes with soup of choice, a veggie platter and a meat platter. I always add 30c for veggie platter B (more mushrooms!) and opt for the superior marbled pork slices!! Recently they have started to charge for the sauces ($2+ if i remember correctly). Everything will add up to about $15 which is still INCREDIBLY WORTH IT.

We went on a Saturday night when it was quite packed. We paid about $30/pax. Meat was not anything to boast about, in fact it was incredibly salty. Would have preferred more selection of meats that were not marinated. For $30, it’s about the price you would pay if you went to an ala carte KBBQ restaurant. They do have a selection of other things like mushrooms, prawns, and free-flow drinks. For the price point, nothing incredible. May be a good place for a big group of ravenous friends.

The rice is incredibly fragrant and the chicken is oh so tender 🤪 My family’s favourite chicken rice place! Had to call in advance to order and collect for them to de-bone the chicken (overheard the cashier telling a customer that they don’t usually de-bone it so...) Try the seafood toufu, the ngoh hiang and the beansprouts too!!
