- it was marinated with mainly salt and pepper - nice outer seasoning. Meat was like tender as I expected it to be, and tasted gamey. Definitely would not eat it again even if it was $8.

$32 MARGHERITA PIZZA
for an Italian place, think this was really disappointing! :( the crust was thick and the flavour was jus not there.

$33 GRILLED OCTOPUS
loved the charred texture on the outside - had a burst of different complex flavours all together. Interesting taste! But would have been perfect if the octopus was juicier and meat was slightly over cooked.

$28 20 LAYERED CAKE
best cake I have ever tasted. For a 20 layer cake, u might think it would have been very gelak. But the flavours are not too strong to turn u off but strong even to capture ur heart. It is a challenge to finish it tho! Can take away and savour it for days at home. Haha

Initially we thought the bun overpowered the whole burger. Then, we tried deconstructing the burger to attempt to taste each individual ingredient. But there was none. (Imagine our shock faces when we ate tasteless cheese or tasteless beef/chicken!)

Love the Pistachio and tiramisu flavour! Love it! The cone is meh tho :(

The crabmeat pasta in white wine sauce was interesting but it didn’t taste like $25. Their handmade pasta was however light and good (would totally suggest to top up to get their handmade pasta!!)
As a beef lover, the beef short rib pasta did not stand out to me. I’m glad I used the 1 for 1 deal for it. 😂 the pork ribs that we spontaneously decided to get at the end turned out to be the best!!!

Would recommend making reservations if anyone wants to try this!! (Wouldn’t queue an hour for this tbh 😅)

with FatPapa's now in the place of Fatboy's along Joo Chiat, we decided to pop by to try their menu!
this is prolly the only place you can get fried steak + fries + mash potatoes + bacon all in a 🍔.
the incredulous portion filled both the tummies of me and my boyf. and we upgraded our fries to sweet potato fries for just ~$2.
the fried steak was nicely done and tender. the whole burger tasted amazing with all the ingredients complementing each other.
it was definitely a good and filling meal 😋

Though the portion's quite small, for $5.90 it's really a steal for grilled unagi! Soup that came with it was their ramen soup too 😋
