I melt at this combination. No pun intended. Earl Grey...... Lavender......

I heart thosai!!!! What is it about this crisp simpleton creation so inviting? Is it the tri-color sides? Which do you prefer? Take your pick from cool coconut chutney, Sweet tomato chutney, or savoury satisfying sambar that comes in a bowl so cutsie teeny. Oh. Did i mention that eating anything with your fingers makes us more innocent?

Salad is fresh and crisp. The linguine is cooked al dente, with a serious generous portion of minced garlic, chilli, herb and an assortment of woodland mushroom. Garnished with Parmesean cheese.

Black or white? Who doesn't like this childhood titbit that had slowly masquerade into a pasar malam staple. If my picture hasn't entice you yet, it's because of my amateur photo taking skills doesn't do this little plate of peanut/sesame coated softies justice.

Expert says that breakfast has to be the most sumptuous meal of the day. Therefore human invented this. Woodshed's two of a kind is the perfect evident of such. The toast cup is a perfect little vessel to cuddle that wonderful egg baby that arrives warm and wobbly at your table. With a side of hash and lightly tossed mixed greens. And guess what? You get 2 eggs!!! Duh.... Thus the name two of a kind. 4 out of 5 stars. Only because the hash is a bit lack lustle.

Ok. Where do i start? Flat white is flat white. But the Ice matcha original is a tall glass of frothy heaven begging for some slurping action. Pardon me.

The beauty of this joint is the desserts are display Japanese style. Plastic-kie mockup of the dessert items. It makes your selection process that much easier hhhmmm...... or should i say harder?!?! One single scoop of rich green tea ice cream, one swirl of soft serve ice cream, another single scoop of anko (red bean paste). All serve on a bed of perfectly cubed Matcha jelly which has a hint of Oh-so-delicate matcha flavour. Love comes in many shades of green.

Heavily doused in truffle oil is how this pizza is presented. The aroma when it arrives at the table is unprecedented. The ultra skinny dough makes half the guilt to the name pizza. Ideal for the figure caring girls out there. Boys too!!! Enjoy and rejoice.

My love for thunder rice stretch long back when i first discovered it by chance. It is obviously not a popular item as is not easy to find it. Nested in the depths of a busy neighborhood food court in toa payoh hdb hub is such stall. They offer white rice, brown rice or brown vermicelli. You can ask for vegetarian by asking then not to put shrimp powder and ikan bilis. Im trying the cai-pu omelette as well. But the star of the show is of course my lei cha fun. Divine. I can see myself coming back for more.
