Expect a queue. This place offers only one item at one size ($3). Generous serving of cockles. Char kuey teow didn't have much other ingredients to make the taste stand out.
Tasty seafood broth. Substantial ingredients and overall good meal.
The bomb for Chendol! I cannot decide if I liked this more than Jin Jin. I love the unlimited and self-controlled gula melaka serving. Ingredients were enough for two to share. Quite pricey at $6 but this is so yummy! I couldn't speak until I consumed my portion. I'm just so glad I ran 10km yesterday and will be running 17km tomorrow as this is just too sinful!
Affordable burgers but not much selection on beef. Full set with fries and drink cost $11.80 and you can choose from four types of fries with $1 upgrade to truffle. For a place that has Fries in the name, the quality and taste of fries weren't that great.
This was much better than the miso with garlic oil version (both at $14.80). I still haven't found the taste that I like.
Searching for good burgers and read about this place. Service here was terrible! The place wasn't full as there were several empty tables. Staff saw us but just ignored our presence. We waited for a while and decided to get a table ourselves. Order was taken and we were then told to move to another table. The same staff who took our order didn't remember the switch and sent back our order when the new occupants rejected them. On the up side, the burger was good. But they held back on the ingredients and I couldn't taste or find the guacamole and refried beans in my burger. Despite this, I felt the beef patty was much better than Fatboys which disappointed me recently.
This stall is always highly rated for Chendol. There was a long queue during lunch hours. I was quite unimpressed by the overall taste of this dessert. It might be better than the average food court but definitely not the best for me.
My favourite place for soy chicken! Smooth, tasty and amazingly good! Love this place. Quality hasn't changed over the decades.
Supposed to be the best carrot cake in Yishun. This was dry and a bit crispy. Cai por on the side. Black version is available only on weekdays, from 6.30am to 9.30am. Stall open: 6.30am to 3pm (Mondays, Wednesdays to Sundays). Closed on Tuesdays.
Served with plenty of bean sprouts, this San Lo Hor Fun ($10) goes well with green cut chilies. Address : Block 151 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5.
This was really good! I prefer it to the signature moonlight hor fun.
