Peaceful Cafe With Sufficient Space Feels very comfortable in this cafe with its large area. Lovin' their pork loin, costs $16 as this is their set meal and it includes soup of the day & single scoop ice cream. The latte costs $3 as its set price and you'll get 15% off if you order their cakes. Some said still too pricey for a cafe located in an industrial area but I'm happy with it for its special set price, large area & yummylicious pork loin (I'm not a pork lover though)...

This dish should be nicknamed "Johnny Storm" because... ... "Flame On!" ... ... I sense shudders going down people's spines. ANYWAY, the actual name of the dish is Flame Brandy Chicken, which fully describes it: 1. The waitress doused the half chicken that was sitting on a mash potato bed with brandy - A LOT of brandy 2. She then whipped out a lighter, told me to get my camera ready, and set the dish ablaze The flame of course was nowhere near to causing fowl play (here we go again), lasting a mere few seconds. I wish it had burned off more brandy, because the astringent or "siap siap" alcoholic taste was overpowering and affected the otherwise delicious meal. Set meals here are super economical, costing $20 or less which includes soup and ice cream, and discounted prices for beverages and cakes. The big space here can accommodate huge parties, but the downside is that it's located in the secluded Kallang industrial area.

Photogenic Food!! Baked potato skin and breakfast combo. Potato skin was cool! Tasted pretty good. Stuffed with bacon and cheese. Nice ambience in the cafe too, with korean pop playing.

Banh mi ($4.50). Vietnamese bread which comes with a choice of grilled pork, ham or funnily, satay. The ones I usually had along the streets of Vietnam were ham ones. This grilled pork baguette is lightly toasted with a crisp exterior and soft inside, and the sandwich is later given a healthy dose of chopped peanuts.

[Newly Opened] Authentic and affordable Vietnamese cuisine at a coffee shop in Clementi. They sell a wide variety of fare that you see in Vietnam, from banh mi to pho to bun thit niuong. All their dishes range only from $3 to $7. I wouldn't say the food here is fantastic but is better and cheaper than some of the places out there.

Satay Stores Galore @ ECLFV 1 thing that East coast Lagoon does not lack, is its Satay stalls. Along a stretch of Muslim stalls, u will easily walk pass over 5 stalls trying to psycho passer-bys to come buy satays from their stall. My satays came from a a store named "Sixty Satay" . Satay not bad leh, cooked till the edges slightly charred, and the meat was fresh also man. Each Satay @90cents and minimum order of 10.

Gong gong 15nett 500g (新福记𝗕𝗕𝗤 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘆 #01-15) Rlly good, cooked perfectly and fresh, there's a bit of crab aroma honestly. Meat was reasonably tender, and has a mild chew, as good as it gets honestly. Chili was bright too, a good Thai chili No complaints whatsoever for this dish, but today they didn't have a lot of other items so that's annoying, but understandable since they always import fresh seafood only, daily

It's almost hard to describe what's particularly good about it, but the texture is different, it's more tender, slightly sticky, and slightly cottony. Again slathered w their blasphemously good sambal It's better than I'm describing. Must try!

vegetarian beehoon ($4) chanced upon this coffeeshop next to Beo market. their small portion certainly isnt small. I could barely finish this for breakfast. theres an option of curry or clear gooey sauce and I went for the latter. its not super flavourful, but the star has got to be those supee crispy air fried tofu strips - its even layered much like a crepe cake for added texture.

Gyoza We ordered a plate of 𝗚𝘆𝗼𝘇𝗮 ($𝟲.𝟴𝟬) and the combination of tasty meat filling wrapped in thin dumpling skin did not disappoint.

Negi-Ramen 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗶-𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻 ($𝟭𝟱.𝟰𝟬) features al dente ramen, tender pork chashu and lots of spring onions in rich pork bone broth that is drizzled in burnt garlic oil. This is packed with flavour and absolutely delicious.

Nantsuttei Tonkotsu Ramen (Regular Size - $12.90++) I finally tried their ramen at orchard ctrl lvl 7 after seeing them on google lol. But the soup broth was quite slightly heavy and thick texture on flavour. The noodle texture can be customised to your choice from soft to hard. I did choose medium noodle texture. I felt that it's not that bad tbh but the soup broth I felt it was a bit turned off for me.
