The bee hoon was very reasonably priced at $4.50 for a small plate. It was very tasty, soaked in a rich stock. The small plate of meat and prawn roll which somehow tasted like nuggets (in a good way) costs $10. Craving for both dishes as I type.
Although when I ordered them, I was not expecting them to taste delicious. To my surprise, they tasted pretty decent and was very affordable for a tourist attraction ($2.90 for the Panda Pau and $5.50 for Panda Cappuccino). Furthermore, just the looks of it makes my day.
There were only 3 items on the menu and we ordered the Grilled Live Whole Lobster and the Chilli Lobster. Price was fixed at $58++ per item and I would highly recommend the Grilled Live Whole Lobster over the Chilli Lobster to savor the freshness and sweetness of the lobster.
The idea of it sounds good but I will not be back for this item. Not expensive @ $3.80 but the Liu Sha in the tang yuan was too diluted and did not give the satisfaction I was expecting.
For $13.90, there were quite lot of varieties in this small bowl. Prawns, chicken, ladies finger, mushroom, baby corn and egg. There was even a chawanmushi and miso soup which came with the set. The only thing to take note was that they charged $3.80 for the hot green tea which I find a bit too expensive.
It takes 2 to finish the durian shaved ice priced at $6.50, which tasted like durian ice-cream. Enjoyed the dessert but would like it better if it was shaved finer.
At $5, what more can I ask for. 👍🏼
The lavender taste from the charcoal waffles was a little too strong for my liking. Think I will order their normal waffles the next time.
Thank you for the lovely tea and cake pairing. A little pricey at $10.80 for the cake and $7 for the tea but I'll definitely be back!
Waffles + Ice-cream @ $12 was a little too eggy for my liking.
I was expecting at least flavored ice for the price of $18.90. However, this was merely plain shaved ice with carnation milk.
Tender chicken with really soft bones. Tahu Telor was good too!
