The Sauce was tremendously Gd. Add It Into the lor mee b4 eating ππ»
$20
Very nice tasty wok hey! Very good!
Yum! $5 a bowl. The smallest bowl is alr quite big. Rmb to add vinegar for the tang.
Charred to perfection with a generous knob of avocado butter melting at the top. Its abolutely delicious.~$120.00
Succulent prawns tossed in angel hair pasta. What makes it special is the egg topped on top of it all. The mini shrimps also add another dimension to the dish. Totally worth it at $18.90!!
Think it costs $12 or $14. Not worth it. Pork was dry, bun was hard, nothing fancy about it. π
Reasonably priced. Stew with carrots, potatoes and sundried tomatoes accompanied with a whole chicken thigh and sourdough bread. Could have a thicker consistency though. It seems more like soup than a stew. But still tasty.
At $10, you get a pretty huge bowl with couple of prawns and that glorious refillable soup! Prawns are so juicy and cooked to perfection too!
Carbonara! Really creamy and rich. Use the entertainer app to get a 141
Though the price might be a tad steep, the portion was huge and abundant to keep you full for a meal! The chicken patty was tender, meaty and flavourful, enhanced by the addition of melted cheese and creamy mushroom ragout (my favourite element here π). The mushroom ragout came with chunks of thinly slices button mushrooms, resulting in an overall creamy and chewy texture. Like a mushroom soup in a purΓ©e, semi-solid version, the main highlight here which stole my heart away π. The sesame buns were toasted with butter, soft and fluffy, HUGE as well.
Mesclun salad came with a tangy balsamic dressing which was present in minimal amount; could have been more. Overall verdict: worth the try ππ» no regrets to the wallet (and waistlineπΉ) .

From An Ji Xiang Hua Ice Jelly at Chinatown Complex Market. One of the stalls that I would end up getting iced desserts especially in the hot weather if I were to be at this market. This was a refreshing treat with the smooth ice jelly atop shaved ice that's been drizzled with lime juice for a refreshing flavour β definitely a good dessert for the insane heat these days!
PS: I also quite liked how the uncle is quite particular about presentation β it's rare for someone this age to be so meticulous about how things are plated especially at a hawker stall.
Had always been wanting to try this stall for a while especially since the Carrot Cake here is made by the stall owners themselves β the Carrot Cake was probably one of the softest and moister ones around being pretty bouncy with every bite.
Between the two, I would prefer the black but both the black and white are still pretty good. The black one takes the cake for those who love their black carrot cake saucy; they seem to be pretty generous with the sauce which provides for a dark, rich and sweet flavour. The white comes with a prominent spiciness if one were to opt for chili,
