Fried Mac N Cheese I’ve so much love for Mac and Cheese. The ones here was breaded and deep fried topped with plum salsa, Pomodoro sauce, bits of Feta and a lovely omelette on the side. I wished there was more sauce and Feta. But ain’t complaining much for the price sold. RM20 per serving.

Matcha Soufflé With Earl Grey Ice Cream That soft fluffy matcha soufflé was decadent with a bit of crust on top. Although it was a bit tad sweet for my liking but pair it with a scoop of earl grey ice-cream. Taste really good. RM19 per serving.

Charred Eggplant Charred eggplant with miso butter, bonito flakes and onion purée is something I don’t mine having all time. I’ve always have a soft spot for eggplant with miso. Theirs was slightly over charred and a little under seasoned despite there’s bonito flakes. RM21 per serving.

Pork Meatball House made pork meatballs cooked in lovely Pomodoro sauce with slices of freshly baked sourdough. The meatball was nicely seasoned with herbs and toasted sourdough with olive oil is so good and flawless. Perfect meal for the sourdough lovers Available for lunch only. RM17 per serving.

Crab Meat Kuey Tiaw & Pork Kuey Tiaw RM16 each. Quite pricey for a plate of Kuey Tiaw, which is a local dish in Malaysia. You can get it at most kopi tiams for half the price. The crab meat one was nice. Generous crab meat on top of the Kuey Tiaw, along with clam meat and prawns. The prawn and clam were good, but there's this 腥 smell for the crab meat. Just my luck maybe? Our verdict: not worth the price

Specialize CKT The New kid in damansara uptown specialize in authentic peneng style CKT. A very straight forward menu that you can pick a regular CKT, a duck egg CKT, crab meat CKT or roasted pork CKT. All meal came with a free drink. The queue at this place is crazy, we were lucky to be able to get a table in the restaurant and waited one hour for our meal. I overheard the waiter did told diner that came in at a later time that they will have to wait for almost 2hrs. Verdict: I'm not sure is the CKT that awesome with the price that I pay and the time that I waited.

For a Neighbourhood Favourite Bakery With its quality bakes at reasonable prices, this local bakery in SS2 has risen to become the neighbourhood's firm favourite. We hear they import Japanese flour for their breads to give them a softer texture. Try the chewy Luo Song (honey and butter bread, RM5) or their signature Classic Sourdough (RM10) that is both egg and sugar-free. Salted egg croissant (Rating:4/5🌟) Crispy butter croissant with smooth and creamy egg custard. (rm7) The custard inside tastes exactly like the 流沙包 from Foo Hing 😂 It tastes great but does not worth the price with this small portion. Anyways, still worth a try and remember to enjoy it when it’s still hot!

#bakeplan #bakeplanss2 Tart Cherry Bread review. This is one of their crusty breads and I've been craving crusty breads lately. The crust is delightfully hard and crusty but it was easy to cut into. Digging in, I loved the chewiness of the bread and how it tastes not too dry and not too moist. There are many cherries in this bread which are sourish sweet but they are very pleasant next to the savoury saltiness of the bread. Beef Noodles Always a good option for breakfast! Love the minced beef and uber-tenderized sliced beef. Beef balls were really good. Overall, i have to say this is not too bad for a branch and I've had better beef noodles in KL.

Beef Ball Noodles Springy Hakka wantan dry-style noodles, topped with generous portion of Soong Kee's signature minced pork and beef doused in special concocted sauce with a side sprig of choy sum (RM8). Visitors are given a choice to pick their noodles from wantan mee to hor fun or loh shu fun. Dry noodles or noodles soaked in fragrant beef broth. The restaurant also offers a variety of other noodles such as Minced Pork Noodles (RM5) and Chicken and Mushroom noodles (RM8), as well as porridge and rice. But I would recommend to stick to their signature. With orders served up to our table in less than 10 minutes, Soong Kee is an assuring place for a quick meaty fix.

Cempadak Spring Rolls Ain't cheap local desserts - the name itself is self-explanatory : deep fried cempadak spring roll.

Mushroom Creme Spaghettini It's an unusual day where I crave for carbonara and Mei certainly didn't dissappint me. This plate of creamy spaghetti is reasonably priced at RM18. I would really love more seaweed to balance out the creaminess and the contrast the soft texture. Don't get me wrong, no doubt it's really nice but get satiated quickly before finishing half of the plate.

Houjicha Latte, Matcha Latte And Matcha Mocktail. Definitely worth the trip here! Prices of the drinks were affordable and the matcha was so authentic!

Matcha Flan (MYR14) Artisanal matcha drinks and dessert. One of the more popular matcha house in KL now, is this small minimalist cafe @nikonekomatcha. Using imported matcha powder from Japan, they serve authentic matcha dessert where you satisfy your matcha craving! We had the Matcha Flan (MYR14) paired with their signature mocktail, Momotaro (MYR14). The flan is dense and has a rich matcha flavour though I’m not a fan of their tart base. While the drink was refreshing, it has an acquired taste as it combines white peach, lychee and rosemary leaves.

Matcha Latte (RM12) Made with Kiku (80% umami). One of the best matcha I’ve ever tasted in KL. Super refreshing! Also bought the sourdough croissant (RM10). Love the ambience here (and the beautiful KITTY)

Dry Nood With Pork Dry noodle with pork cutlet (RM16.90). Springy and unlike-your-usual-tantan-noodle pair with cook to perfection coddled egg (look at the flowing egg yolk!) Crispy Pork cutlet that's not oily at all.

Foo Chow Meatball Noodles Love the interior of the restaurant. Comfort food on a rainy day.

Curry Rice With Chicken Katsu I'm amazed by the portion. The curry is nothing like the Japanese curry, it's kinda spicy for a non-spicy-eater but I'm not complaining. I love every single bite of it. It comes in set, hot drink + dessert in their set lunch menu for less than RM21.
