You know a dish is truly authentic when the shop is crowded by locals instead of foreigners (well save us of course). Clockwise from right is Sate Ayam Lilit (chicken skewers), Babi Rica-Rica (hot & spicy pork), Kacang Panjang (long beans), Gorengan (crispy fried pork meat), and Kulit Babi Goreng (crispy pork skin) and right in the centre is the actual meat and crispy skin from the Babi Guling (suckling pig). The pig is stuffed with many herbs and then slowly roasted over a spitfire so that flavours from the herbs get absorbed into the meat.
