My favourite is Red Hill 85 so when I’m craving chilli mee, I go to that only. Finally after 2 years, I decided to give the Pontian Mee another try after seeing the dumplings dessert deal for $6.40. Glad to report it’s quite good. Normal dessert deal is $5. Might actually revisit again soon.
So much flavour going on. I really love the in your face tomato notes as well as the crispy bread. Just the thing to have these days given the weather!

It’s a concept by Collins, but surprisingly things are pretty expensive compared to their other outlets.

I was supposed to have this high tea set but I was early and hadn’t had lunch. Stuck between a rock and a hard place because most dishes were too expensive to order and also it’s only half hour before high tea hour. In the end ordered a $8 pumpkin soup which was very good. As proof that I was so hungry, I forgot photos!

But I didn’t forget photos of the main thing. The high tea set is pretty affordable in relation to everything else! Only $35 for this set plus 2 cups of tea. It doesn’t have super a lot of items but if you just want a simple high tea, this is good. The food was good too! Thank goodness this amount of food was enough for 2 adults and 1 hungry boy.

I really enjoyed all the ribs, in particular the BBQ Beef Ribs which were so tender, you can simply just eat it with a fork! We had so much food, I tarpowed 2 and 3 and had them for dinner the next day. Still good!

The kuay chap seems so much more flavourful this time round. Just egg, taukee and taupok is enough to satisfy me. Would have liked large intestines but they didn’t have. What u see here costs $10 in total.

The highlight of the collection is the Xmas Fruits Train (S$90). Each carriage of the train is made of a different confectionery. There are roll cake, strawberry Napoleon pie, Gateau Chocolate and fruit cake. Don't you agree this is so eye-catching and sure to please the various palates?
I tasted several cake samples, and what stands out is the lightness of the creams and sponges. Really tasty, thanks in part to the milk from grass-fed cattle living at the Yatsugatake foothills.
This is one shop where I'd recommend you to just stop reading this post and head straight to the shop. The rows of colourful cakes in the display chiller will have your eyeballs popping out in delight.
Santa🎅🏻and Snowmen ⛄️aren't only in desserts you know? You can also have them as your main meal! I just had this for dinner tonight!
