I chose to have this for my last meal in Milan. The risotto in Milanese style. The best risotto I have in Italy.
20mins wait for this plate of yellow heaven. Although it gave us a slight scare since we have a flight to catch, it was well worth the wait!
The key here is saffron which is what gives its yellow colour. Needs no other ingredients bcos it is solely owned by saffron, which also tests the skills of the chef to bring out the flavours. The creamy texture is to-die-for and the risotto cooked to perfection is hard to come by. Most of them are either too hard or mashed.
This is one thing you must have when you're in Milan besides visiting the duomo, else regret! Big love!
PS: I guess the risotto snob would endorse too.
