In The Hood - Bugis/Lavender/Jalan Besar
Expect a crazy lunch queue between 12-2pm!! but worth the wait especially on rainy days 😋
What can go wrong with bagels & salmon? A wholesome breakfast set that comes in a very big serving. It might have been a good idea to share this instead! Overall, nice place to just chill or get some work done.
A much raved about place for Laksa! They only have 1 serving size ($3). We paired this with popiah & fritters from the stall beside.
Glad i got this plate of goodness even though the queue was long. Tasty rice & tender chicken! Plus nice zhap to spread over your rice.
Chose the Grilled cajun chicken set with mash & cherry tomatoes, homemade mushroom sauce. The food is rly good and price point really decent. So filled right now!! 👍
My ultimate comfort food for this cold weather.
Macaroni - $2.50 ( +50cents for egg)
Wings - $1.20
Cheap and good wanton mee. Love the springy texture of the noodles and generous amounts of wanton. I always ask for no char siew and extra wanton. You can upsize if the portion is too little. Slurpy durps.. Nice friendly aunty too!
Just an honest bowl of mee pok noodles, nothing really fancy or to die for. It's a great value for money option with the amount of ingredients they add to a seperate large bowl of soup.
Delish plate of basil pork rice set 👏 would be coming back to try the other dishes!!
second time eating here! Felt that the standard kinda dropped, wasn't as mindblown as the first time but overall experience here still good: 7.5/10
Light and tasty soup base. Nice meal for a rainy day comfort. Not sure if i would try this again though as the lunch time queue is really crazy!
I really enjoyed this bowl of fish soup noodles - the soup base is tasty, generous amounts of fish and the variety of veggies added (bitter gourd, cabbage and xiao bai cai)... Only regret is that i think the $5 portion is abit too much for me. Would go for the $4 option next time!
