Don't be overwhelmed by the large selection of gorgeous intricate eclairs in this Parisian chic cafe. Start with their bestseller, Ispahan ($8.50), where a rose, raspberry and lychee cream combo sits in sweet choux pastry. Otherwise, the classic Dark Chocolate or Hazelnut ($8) are fine choices as well. For something rich and complex, try their Matcha ($8) éclair which boasts a slightly bitter aftertaste. Psst. For a tea time respite around town, look to this specialty eclair house for stellar pastries. Pair the delicate Isaphan Eclair (consisting of raspberries, lychee and rose cream) with a refreshing Earl Grey Latte, and you're good for the afternoon.

Initially a pop-up concept, L’eclair has now opened a shopfront at Singapore Shopping Centre, serving their delicately crafted and gorgeous eclairs. With flavours ranging from Vanilla and Pecan to Matcha, you will have a difficult time deciding which to pick. We say go for the Lemon Meringue ($7.50) — filled with a tart lemon curd and topped with marshmallow-like meringue — or the stunningly beautiful Ispahan ($8.50). For something savoury, go for the flaky home-baked Chicken & Bacon Pie ($12).
