Easily one of the best meals we had in Tokyo! Went for the loin cutlet and that melt in the mouth fats made all that extra calories soooooo worth it. Didn’t even have to order the most expensive type of pork, as this basic one did its job really well. The cutlet was very well breaded, thick enough for a good crisp and to hold everything together yet thin and light without any greasiness. Each set comes with free flow pickled vegetables, fresh shredded cabbage (have it with the ponzu sauce), barley rice and a hearty bowl of miso soup. At the back of the photo is Zhi Hui’s Katsukura Meal (2460¥ • 30.75SGD) that came with a fillet katsu and giant prawn katsu, very value for money considering that size of fresh prawn! We left feeling super satisfied.
We also noticed that the English menu had lesser dishes compared to the Japanese one, so take a look at both before ordering! Lucky us managed to skip the long line, so come slightly before meal times to cruise in for a table.
