Chicken Luncheon Meat Gong Zai Mian ($8.90) - simple yet delicious πŸ˜‹ the taste brought my daughter back to her kindergarten days where this simple noodle was served during meal break 😱

Price: $8.90
Be pleasantly surprised by random bites of chicken luncheon meat in this all time best seller.

This newly Halal-certified restaurant dishes out a wide assortment of cuisines at pocket-friendly prices. Located across Popeye's at Punggol Promenade Riverside Walk, Ah Dong Teh House may sound like a Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng, but the extensive menu proves otherwise. Alongside typical cha chaan teng eats like Chicken Luncheon Meat Noodle ($7.90) and Shredded Chicken Porridge ($7.50), you'll find locally inspired dishes like Ah Dong Curry Chicken ($9.90) and XO Seafood Fried Rice ($15.90). Gather your family for a weekend brunch and make sure you don't skip the popular XO Carrot Cake ($7.90), chunky cubes of carrot cake fried with chicken luncheon meat and generously topped with chicken floss.

Cravings for carrot cake satisfied. Carrot cake was cooked crispy on the outside and luscious on the inside, luncheon meat were cut into cubes and fried to perfection. Tossed in a XO chilli sauce, it can be abit spicy for some, but it went down well for me. Topped with a generous amount of chicken floss. It's a great way to start a meal. The only downside would be that the XO sauce could be more flavourful.

Almost everything I've tried from there is nice and more importantly, it's cheap! The xo fried carrot cake is just delicious and they have western food too! Love the cheesy pork chop! Thumbs up!
