Had their Assam Fish last visit, so this time I tried another dish. Not the usual pig trotter vinegar I had in mind, this version leans more towards the Chinese-style 糖醋排骨 (Sweet & Sour Ribs). Still, it was good.

Always appreciate their generosity with portion size, really fills your belly. The trotter was braised nicely, with a strong sugary-sweet and tangy vinegar flavour. The meat was plentiful and chewy, absorbing the sauce well. The fats were gooey and collagen-rich, not jelak at all. Veggies added a touch of sweetness. Very saucy, which is great for pairing with rice, no need to worry about not having enough gravy.
