Cant stop loving the Nasi Lemak from Your Nasi Lemak @ Sembawang! Featuring their Set with crispy fish this time round! Ingridients are the same like the chicken ones! The crispy fish was indeed deep fried till golden brown! Surprisingly not that oily and the fish meat was white and beautiful! Fresh, tender and smooth! Rice was slightly green in colour, Moist and fragrant! Believe that it was infused with pandan leaves and coconut milk! Yeap! It was good!

.
Infused with strong Nasi Lemak aroma! Chilli was more sweet than being overwhelming spicy!
.
Atmosphere is indeed homely and friendly! Worth a trip down!

Fly Like An Angry Chicken Nasi Lemak consists of ayam masak merah, ikan billis, peanuts, an egg, and cucumber slices served with coconut pandan rice and special sambal chilli.

Probably one of the more inventive dishes here would be the Otah Sundae — Begedil on top of a large Pong Pong Otah that sits atop a bed of Nasi Lemak drizzled with the same sweet sambal chili and coconut milk. The result was more of a curry-like flavour though lacking the aroma of curry leaves; it does help ante up the flavour of the rice a bit while giving the sambal a unique creaminess. The Begedil was crisp and mushy within; quite fluffy without being too starchy within, though the Otah did leave us a little confused — while seemingly looking like a giant, round version of what we are used to, the insides were stiff in the same way as a meatball despite the use of fresh fish; it was also pretty plain, being white inside and lacking spiciness though did carry a hint of lemongrass aroma. At the same price as the other sets at $5.80, I would probably find it a better option to opt for the other sets instead of this.

Much similar to the Swim Like A Fish Fillet set here, Fly Like A Chicken comes with the same components (sunny side up, peanuts, chili, cucumber, Ikan Bilis) with the exception of the chicken wing that replaces the fish fillets.

Again, the rice was on the starchy side and would definitely work better being fluffier — the other condiments also being rather decent but not particularly outstanding, being the sweet chili that could probably do a little less wet and also with a dimension of savouriness, the sunny side up which could be better with a flowy egg yolk instead of the solid yolk. That being said, the chicken Wing was excellently fried; crisp on the exterior, juicy and tender inside with evident flavours of turmeric used in its marination — quite delicious. Pretty decent eat at $5.80 if one is in the area.

From Your Nasi Lemak, which recently opened at Sembawang Road near Sembawang Shopping Centre where the nearest bus stop is. They currently serve Nasi Lemak sets with a number of sides available.

While the rice wasn't as fluffy and a little starchy, the rice does carry a light whiff of coconut fragrance, though not particularly strong. That being said, the fish was fried exceptionally well — crisp on the outside and flaky and smooth within. Other components such as the Ikan Bilis and the Chili were decent, but not particularly outstanding — Ikan Bilis were on the crunchy side while the chili, being sweet, felt a little wet and lacked a dimension of savouriness. At $5.80, it's still quite a decent eat considering Chong Pang Nasi Lemak nearby doesn't operate during lunch hours.
