Totally hooked on their Cigare series. โฃ
Oh and they have this really cool box that's exclusive to Singapore. Snake and Ladder box on the top, you can also use it for board game while snacking on them.
Now you don't have to be crazy rich to be accorded exclusivity at Yoku Moku's latest outlet at Ion Orchard, because they have a private buying room for a more intimate buying experience.

There's no minimum spend required, but I bought 7 boxes of these Japanese confectionery today when I was there!! The box is really pretty, so in-lieu of mooncakes, I'll be giving some of these as gifts to my friends while keeping the rest (with different box designs) for myself. The ones I bought have an expiry of Jan 2019, I can take my time to eat them through the year ๐๐๐

This Mid Autumn box includes 20 cookies - 8 pieces of the signature Cigare, 8 pieces of double chocolat au lait and 4 pieces of double chocolat blanc. This is available at Yoku Moku's outlet at Ion Orchard's Basement 4, or Raffles City Basement 1.

[I received one box as a media gift, then I bought many more ๐]

The tin is a playful take on icons of both Singapore and Japan, reinterpreting icons such as the Tokyo Tower, Mount Fuji, our dragon playground and the merlion. This is incorporated into a "snakes and ladders" game, complete with a set of wooden magnetic pawns and dice.

Each tin comes with:
* 06 x Petit Cigare

Spring, the prettiest season of the year has arrived and fluttering into Yoku Moku at ION Orchard are the limited edition Sakura Cookies.
These thin and delicate buttery baked discs have a floral fragrance and a light sweetness. The green one contains a blend of matcha with the sakura so the taste is a little more complex.
Please donโt ask me to choose a favourite as I found them both just as lovely.
Can't wait to be back in Japan and bask in those beautifully Sakura flowers. But for now, let's grab an exquisite Cadeau de Printemps Spring collection ($48 for 20 pieces and $78 for 42 pieces). An assortment of four kinds of cookies can be found within the floral designed box, such as YOKU MOKUโs signature buttery Petit cigare, Petit cigare au chocolat, Double chocolat au lait and their yearly special Cacao fraise (chocolate biscuit with raspberry cream)
โข
But what had me squealing with joy was their Sakura cookies ($31 for a set of 20 pieces). Each set comes in two flavours โ Sakura Petal (Sakurabana) and Sakura Leaf (Sakuraba). The thin buttery cookies have a light floral fragrance and were truly a delightful treat! Donโt miss your chance of getting the Sakura cookies, which are available only for a limited period.

P.S. do check out the new outlet opening at Raffles City this coming April too!
