Their version was a little more heavy on the spices. I liked that there were plenty of vegetables in it to soak up the rich curry and the portion of fish, which was chunky and fresh, was pretty generous.

The tofu was silky soft, and sauce was very well balanced. Mildly numbing, just the right amount of spiciness, with a tinge of sweetness! You’ll want to order a bowl of rice just to savour the sauce😛

Can’t take spiciness that well but I’d like to think I’m improving slowly but surely. So it was a surprise when I really enjoyed the spicier dishes that night!

Szechuan Spicy Dumplings were one of our favorites. I liked that the dumpling skin was thin, generously packed with juicy, minced meat, and vegetables that gave a nice crunch in texture; in a piquant, slightly vinegary/ spicy sauce. The dumplings were very worth it - will definitely order this again next time.

We also really enjoyed this. Lightly battered so it was very crisp but the inside remained juicy and tender - plus it wasn’t too salty and the prawn paste flavour was so fragrant!

Reminded me of tahu telur, except it was purely crazily fried egg. Not for the health conscious because it was pretty oily but I enjoyed the fluffy, super crispy dish (which was surprisingly a little runny in the center), topped with more crispy golden brown enoki for texture. Wished there was a little more flavour to it although it was already drenched with sweet soy.
