Ya Kun Kaya Toast (ION Orchard)

As usual, going back to my favourite traditional toast place. Loads of butter and kaya... yummy and comforting.

Having tried the banana walnut muffin and being extremely pleased with it - I came back for the orange chocolate muffin and was equally pleased .

Moist , fluffy , full of real orange aroma and dark choc chips - this was one of the best Muffins for me ( and when I say it is good - you can really take my word for it because I have eaten from so many bakeries all over the island 🤣)

Ask for your muffin to be warmed up for 20secs - I find that the best “ magic “ time 🤣 to grant you a muffin that’s warm and moist but not overly hot .

Get the muffin set at 3.50 .

Save more to eat more .

Strong bitter Kopi. Very very hot.

Soft boiled eggs that weren’t too raw. Fresh and delicious.

Slightly too sweet but taste was not bad. Very very hot.

Used the Yakun Cherish App and got this beaut for just 50 cents!!! There were varying sets to choose from. Settled with the good old traditional kaya butter toast! Love how thick the slabs of butter were. Sinful esp when the bread is dipped into the egg but great combi hands down
