This Christmas, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is serving their Christmas specials for two, starting with an appetiser of either the Waldorf salad or cream of cauliflower before a choice of entree which we chose the USDA roasted prime rib served with beef jus and cream horseradish. The main highlight of the meal was beefy and nicely seasoned which is served bone-in and you can gnaw the meat off the bone which has the most flavours. Accompanying sides include sliced honey baked turkey ham that is juicy and tender, baked sweet potato, sautéed wild mushroom that has an umami touch and sautéed haricot verts. End the meal with a dessert of ube tiramisu.

Went to Wolfgang's steakhouse with a few of my colleagues. Ordered a portahouse steak for the mains. This is the portahouse for 3 and it's enough to feed 4 people. It comes with the sirloin portions at the sides and the fillet mignon portions in the middle. The fillet mignon parts are better than the sirloin parts. We had it medium rare and it was perfect.

The service staff was particularly helping in recommending that the portahouse for 3 was indeed the best value because it comes with a better ratio of fillet to sirloin, and informing us that it is enough to feed 4 people.

I think @wolfgangssteakhousesg is kinda becoming the boys birthday tradition.

For starters, I will recommend their thick cut bacon and crab cakes. I love their thick juicy and savoury bacon. Anyone knows a supplier who sells a thick cut bacon steak?

As for their steaks, I will have their fillet mignon over their porterhouse steaks any day. The filet mignon is known as the Roast-Royce of steaks due to its great tenderness and this really shows!

Wolfgang's steaks are tender and juicy but it somehow lacks a "omph" for me as I personally prefer meats with a stronger robust beefy flavour. I know Wolfgang has their fans but I kinda prefer the little bistecca which is located across the road.

The 100% USDA prime black angus beef tenderloin katsu was so tender and juicy, making this sandwich simply delicious! It was served with tomato sauce and potato chips at the side. A very yummy and comforting meal.

Service here was excellent. We visited to celebrate a birthday and they provided us with a complimentary slice of cake, a poloroid photo, and a birthday card! Very thoughtful.

Prices are what you would expect from a steakhouse, we went for the lunch menu as it was lower priced. There was also a 50% off promotion for healthcare workers in April, so we managed to snag a pretty good deal!

Taste of New York includes 100% USDA prime black angus dry aged New York sirloin steak, served with creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, and a sampling of New York style cheesecake. Steak fans rejoice - the sirloin steak here was simply indulgent with its juices sizzling all around it.

Mashed potatoes were creamy and yummy, but the creamed spinach was slightly more bland. The “sampling” of the cheesecake was actually a normal sized cheesecake! It was quite a standard slice of cheesecake.
