Brioche French toast stuffed with ham and cheese topped with sunny side ups and hollandaise sauce.
Wild Honey definitely do their breakfasts right. You’ll get to try breakfasts from various countries here. The Tunisian have their eggs bakes with tomato and chorizo and you get to dip their super fragrant brioche bread into all that gooey goodness.
Nested in sautéed mushrooms are perfectly cooked eggs wrapped in Prosciutto, topped with hollandaise sauce. Such a glorious and indulgent breakfast to feast on
Wild Honey is definitely a brunch place to go if you are looking for good food with variety. They offer all day breakfast serving up dishes from different cuisines and the portions are fairly generous with great service. I really enjoyed my Mexican breakfast burrito ($24++) served with salsa, guacamole and sour cream on the side - the portion was so huge I had to takeaway half of it. This was my first time at the South Beach branch and the alfresco vibes were really lovely.
Description from menu: Pita bread with green falafel, herb and seed tabouleh, watercress pesto, cured lemon and tahini. Served with herb and seed tabouleh.
Wanted to try something unique, out of the normal cafe breakfasts, but this was out of my comfort zone. Perhaps Israeli food is not for me 😅. There was way too much herbs and too little sauce, everything tasted dry.
A little disappointed when my food was not served warm. The chorizo was okay yet the beef was not juice as I expected. Poached eggs were perfectly done, yet I wish they were warm. Brioche is quite nice, crunchy skin yet tender bread. The star of the dish is really the potato! I like how the potato is seasoned and roasted.
TL;DR - order the one with chef head icon (Wild Honey signature dishes). This Spanish is definitely not.
