This isn't an ordinary cheesecake. What's unique of this cheesecake is the crust. Although it was very crumbly, it has a slight savoury taste as some herbs were crushed and added into the crust. As someone who prefers a cheesecake with a firm and crunchy crust, I was a little disappointed, but it was worth the try as the flavour was an interesting fusion between sweet and savoury-something not often seen in the dessert world.

Potatoes was roasted and soft, and the chicken was served with a pico de gallo-like mix. What stood to me the most was the green sauce; it had a sharp and tangy taste, and it really complemented the chicken. The pan seared orange, while it's taste was interesting, personally I would've liked it better if there was more orange slices and if there was another way that it would complement the dish more rather than placing it as a "decoration".

With a spacious venue and delicious food to boot, industrial-themed WhupWhup is great for dining in groups. Bring friends or family for a funky brunch in this factory-turned-cafe and laugh over the hilariously written menu — the Beef Bourgoignon with Mash contains veggies 'cos Mama said so. Then, order the Duck 3 Ways (RM28) for a duck bacon pasta with salty duck confit that hit it off perfectly with their sweet rendition of a salted egg yolk sauce made of duck eggs, hence the name of the dish. The cafe also makes a mean salmon — choose from the appetising Mohawk Salmon with Pineapple Salsa and Mash (RM28) or the Salmon Dill Open Toast (RM19).

I totally fall in love with this place. The transformation from a factory to eatery.

Keeping the factory rustic element, spacious space for diner to dine comfortably and a simple yet nice menu.

Mohawk salmon with pineapple salsa and mash (rm28). The crispy salmon skin was the highlight of dish !
