Violet Oon is the place to savour authentic Nonya or Peranakan cuisine in posh setting with great atmosphere. The Babi Pong Tay and Beef Rendang are out of this world.

3.75โญ As my Chope points are expiring soon, redeemed the points and only paid $30 for $100 Violet Oon vouchers. Ordered 4 dishes and a bowl of rice. The Kuay Pie Tee is served warm and the cases are crispy. The filling are juicy and juices flow out when we bite on the kueh pie. Although the beef rendang is tender, it's not as flavourful as the one I ate at IndoCafe. The fish curry is much better although portion is more for 1 pax. I didnt order any rice for myself as I'm contended with just eating roti jala with the dishes. Roti jala is not very common in Sg as it's time consuming to make. Somehow the spices in fish curry has the smell as those fish curry sold at Indian stalls. Also ordered Chap Chye but I find it mediocre.
