Vanilla Cafe is a nice and quiet place to hang out over a cup of coffee and cakes. If the weather permits, the seats outside would be better, especially in the evenings.
Thai definitely has some good cafes hidden and dispersed everywhere. I must say I'm impressed with their quality and standards. Just bear in mind the language barrier and some potential scams at certain places
