Umi Nami

The salmon was lukewarm on a bed of hot rice. Normally the salmon sashimi would still remain semi-cold when served at other restaurants but this sashimi wasn't even cool, but warm!

Doesn't leave a nice taste. Wouldn't return.

Restaurant wasn't full on a Sunday afternoon (1.30pm).

Quality of salmon was good. Portions were decent but could be a little bigger. Fast service with short waiting time. Small cozy place but tables are relatively closer to each other so there is quite a bit of background noise. Overall rating 7 out of 10, will come back again. Thank you!

burpple 1-for-1 saves the day again! just so happened to be in the area and saw this quaint japanese restaurant :-)

the bowls seemed small, but was really filling with the addition of the drinks. enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant very much, and i was very relaxed throughout my whole meal. would visit again if in the area!

Aburi scallops with mekajiki. Had a hint of truffle and an interesting black sauce condiment that gave a different variant. Salmon belly were thick pieces

Tried the Aburi Scallop Salmon Don ($18) which was good! - Value for money with Burpple 1 for 1.

The food was okay priced because we had burpple promo, the dons were good and the sashimi was nice and fresh too! But the service is really bad and it’s cash only payment, so i had to run to draw money from the ATM.
