We tried out the seafood donburi and truffle beef donburi. Both were good, but the seafood donburi was the better of the 2 with the variety of seafood (unagi, seaweed, shrimp, scallop). With the egg on top of the seafood donburi, the entire combination blended very well together. The beef was overall good, just with some bits slightly tougher to chew.
Imagine indulging in tender beef slices drenched in well marinated sauce, topped with caviar, foie gras, scallions and a perfect onsen egg. The truffle aroma brings the taste to another level- here is a must order Donburi! đ¤¤
This had a nice umami taste of the seafood mix- scallop, prawnđ¤, fish roe, unagi and topped with an onsen egg. Yummilicious! As it is being served in a hotstone bowl, the dish came hot and I love the rice which is fragrantly charred. Highly recommended! đ
Previously known as Torii Izakaya, this snazzy Japanese resto-bar at Duxton has since revamped. You're here for their decadent Truffled Beef Donburi ($28) featuring a generous beef slices, caviar, truffle mayo, foie gras and an onsen egg. Also good are the Pork Belly Garlic Fried Rice ($19) with succulent grilled pork belly, fried egg, garlic and scallion and Hearty Toro ($28) maxi for sharing.
Soft tender wagyu with aromatic truffle. Foie gras fried rice is the best of its kind. Definitely recommend it!
Salmon donburi ($19) and pork belly garlic fried rice donburi ($19). Both the grilled salmon and pork belly were really nice.
