Oxtail soup! Yummy, but portion was kinda small. Served with rice.

Turmeric rice, galangal fried chicken, tempeh, beehoon (as a side?), keropok and an egg. Disappointingly, for a restaurant that claims to serve authentic Indonesian food, this had nothing to like. Half-hearted.

The most authentic soto (Indonesian soup) place in Singapore! Even the utensils are Indo-style - see that old school enamel plate, serving white rice with bawang goreng!

Ordered soto betawi (beef soup with coconut milk), the soup is thick with sweet yet savoury flavour. Added some drops of kecap manis and fresh lime from the condiments bar to add another layer of flavour. The soto portion is quite small, so best to add-on Bakwan Jagung ($1.60) or Bala-Bala ($1.60) as a side dish!

Had the soto betawi, Nasi Bali and siomay.
Nasi Bali was good! The little portions of dishes had more flavours and spice VS my soto betawi. Siomay recipe definitely had more flour than fish meat, even the peanut sauce couldn't mask it.
If you're craving for Indo flavours then this will do, but if you want legit, in-your-face flavours... This is not the spot. Decor wise it's cute though! Casual joint, inexpensive for town standards and run by real Indonesians too.

The platter consists Balinese style beef rendang, sambal shredded chicken, sliced beef tossed with sambal, sweet and spicy fried tempeh, Balinese stir fried long bean and beef skewers with basted homemade sambal. My favourite is the beef skewers with chunky beef cubes and the sliced beef. Though the latter were almost like beef jerky, they were moreish to chew on. On the other hand, the chicken and beef rendang were much drier than they should be.
