The croissants at this bakery are great! Not too sweet, goes very nicely with a latte.

It's a very nice bakery with a nice selection of savory and sweet baked goods. The croque Monsieur was good and heated up quick.

Certainly a unique choice for breakfast, but we decided to get the lemon tart anyway as we wanted to try something new at TBB! The lemon tart comes with a butter crust filled with a lemon-based pudding. The crust was really buttery and it wasn't too hard; it is somewhat similar to the exterior of an egg tart except that it isn't flaky. The pudding was soft and the lemon flavour was really concentrated! As the sourness does pack a powerful punch, you may not want to order this if sour food isn't your kind of thing.

While we loved the refreshing flavour of the lemon tart, we thought it was really pricey as it costs almost $8 and yet it is much smaller than most of the other pastries at TBB. Would not suggest getting this too often as there are more value-for-money options at TBB!

The green tea almond croissant is one of our favourite pastries at any Tiong Bahru Bakery restaurant. Go early in the morning and the croissants are served warm with a nice buttery fragrance! The croissant was crispy on the outside and really buttery on the inside and this is exactly what we love about the croissants at TBB!

Although the almonds were really generous, we think this outlet was a tad too stingy on the green tea powder as the croissant only appeared slightly green and it didnt look all that different from the almond croissant! Furthermore, the green tea powder could be more concentrated to give the croissant that distinct slight bitterness that should be characteristic of green tea. Nonetheless, for $5.50++, it is still pretty worth it especially given that the pastry is pretty big!

The Tiong Bahru Bakery outlet at Tangs is pretty small and given that some table are reserved for bigger groups, the outlet may fill up really quickly! πŸ˜… Hence, do go early as you may need to queue a while before you get a seat!

Sour Power Juice - $7.80

Concoctions of soursop, starfruit, cucumber & green apple juice. That explains the green appearance, but surprisingly refreshing, not as sour as I thought. Love the juice, great coffee or tea alternative at TBB

This particular outlet is great for shoppers wanting to find a rest spot before their next location. From their crowd favourite croissants to the savoury sandwiches and sweet treats, you can pair these pastries with drinks such as the TBB Teh Tarik and Kombucha other than their regular coffee and tea options. Try your luck when you order their plain croissant and you might just get the golden croissant to win a year’s supply of croissants.
