Smaller than your usual croissant, this was a beauty that delivered a sour citrusy punch

The layers of caramelised sugar glaze were shiny and made the kouign amann so appetising. It was light, sweet, salty, and wonderfully buttery at the same time, and that pastry twirl was really so pretty!

This savoury bread was well balanced with the sweet caramelised onions and juicy tomatoes. Perhaps they could have been heavier with the herbs and olive oil.
