The tom yam boran noodle is quite a popular dish here at TMTBN. Tom yam was not so spicy and tasted a little sweet. Not so filling though. Still feel hungry after.

The mini bowl pork boat [email protected]$1.80 was flavourful. But not worth it leh. Like very very small portion. 1 piece of pork and 1/2 a meatball.

Plenty of noodles choices to choose from:
- thai vermicelli
- glass noodles
- egg noodle
- thick noodles(like kway teow

Conveniently located near hougang mrt.

Expected more from this place seeing the reviews online.
We order 1x beef, 1x pork small boat noodle and a bowl of tomyum boran noodle.
Beef is nicer than pork. Portions are really tiny even for $1.80.

I would have preferred getting a large bowl of beef boat noodle instead of the tomyum boran noodle which tasted rather sweet and watery. Nothing tomyum about it.

Finally tried this place! Small and cosy seating area at second floor. Boat noodles were flavorful (in fact the beef taste was a little strong for my liking) and tomyam soup had the right amount of sweet and spicy. Portion size is just right!

A stone throw away from Hougang MRT, you can get authentic Thai boat noodles @tiewmaithaiboatnoodle

These flavourful Mini Thai Boat Noodles ($1.80/bowl) comes in both beef and pork option. It’s so small, you can slurp it all up in a bite or two. But they do have a regular size too!

But I would go for these Tom Yum Boran Noodles ($6.50). Egg noodles soak in thick spicy broth served with prawn, squid, and sliced pork collar, it leaves you wanting more

One of the better boat noodles I had in SG. Beef is tender, soup is really good. The winglets have a hint of sweetness to it which was good and the fish sauce wasn’t too overpowering. Worth the price!

For those staying at the northeast side, Tiew Mai makes you feel like you are back in Thailand. Tuck into a savoury bowl of Thai Boat Beef Noodles on a rainy day (mini bowl at $1.80 while regular at $6), comforts the stomach. With added chili flakes, it brings out the flavour of the beef broth. The spicy and sour Tom Yum Boran ($6.50) filled with pork, minced pork, tender squid and prawns was addictive too. However, we find the fish sauce chicken wings and grilled pork ball ($4 each) quite normal. Satisfying lunch!
