Was just passing by to have lunch and chance upon this store inside of Eureka taste, located near NUH main building.

This popular Gelato shop, was previously located at Kampong Bahru. Has since shifted to within NUS campus. It is much smaller compared to how it was previously at Kampong Bahru. And does not have that nice internal decor anymore. Nevertheless, ice cream is still excellent here.

Pistachio ice cream was of thick texture and had a firm nutty taste, similar to Nutella.

Waffles were crispy as well.

Overall 4.5/5.

We are back at Three Point Two Gelato House and like in our previous visit, we were suckers for the pistachio ice cream. The ice cream had a pretty intense pistachio flavour and it came across as more nutty rather than sweet! We tried the waffle this time as well, and we loved it because it was crispy on the outside, yet fluffy/airy on the inside. This means that you won't get full from the waffle easily, which was a great thing for a post-dinner meal. 😋 The waffle was served alongside honey (in a separate vial) and chocolate drizzle (along the sides of the plate), so you can mix them in if you like. In total, we paid around $10 for both the ice cream and the waffle.

Three Point Two was really crowded on a Friday evening as they are an eatery in the Outram area that opens until pretty late. Hence, you might need to queue for a table if you visit after 10 pm.

Three Point Two Gelato is most famous for their gelato buns, which are basically choux pastries that can hold a single scoop of ice cream. The bun was crusty on the outside and we were pretty surprised to find that the exterior retained it's texture even when holding a scoop of melting ice cream! Pretty interesting innovation in the local desserts scene. 😁

We ordered the bun with a scoop of rose lychee ice cream, which was supposedly a recommended premium flavour at Three Point Two! The scoop was really refreshing although it tasted more of lychee than rose, although we didn't mind since we liked lychee more. Our only complaint was that the scoop melted pretty quickly even in the air-conditioned environment.

Price-wise, we thought it was fairly expensive as the pastry itself cost $4 and we had to pay another $5 for the scoop. It was a little gimmicky in that aspect and we would probably go with their waffles in future, which can hold two or more scoops of ice cream! 😁

We were near Outram for dinner on a Friday evening and we decided to pop by Three Point Two for an ice cream! As we were suckers for pistachio, we decided to order their Sicilian Pistachio scoop, which was a premium flavour and hence priced at $5. Pretty reasonable price for a scoop of ice cream these days!

The pistachio ice cream wasn't overly sweet and instead, it was pretty nutty. You can also find chunks of pistachio embedded within your scoop of ice cream. 😁

Their Signature Gelato Bun was really good! The warm and crispy craquelin choux puff wraps your choice of gelato - lychee yuzu sorbet in our case, and I was surprised at how the puff was able to hold up its crustiness instead of turning soggy. Lychee Yuzu was a nice combination with a faint fragrance lingering behind even after the bun was long gone.

If you think you're looking at sushi, look again.

This is their Sushi Gelato, which is the 2nd instalment in their 12 Surprises 2022 series where a new concept would be launched each month of the year. Cleverly and gingerly shaped like sushi, the gelato does not taste like sushi at all. Instead, they used gelato spotting the same colours to mimic the sushi design, such as Coconut to mimic rice, Mango to imitate tamago and Watermelon as salmon. However, they did use actual seaweed and inari to hold the 'sushi' together. While it may taste a little too adventurous for me, it was still a really interesting concept 🌟
