Asian fusion deep fried breaded chicken roulade stuffed with mushrooms and ham, served with ratatouille, sweet potato fries and creamy curried butter sauce. The chicken was pretty good but over seasoned. Love the eggplant ratatouille and comes it decent portion. RM29 per serving.

It's my first time eating vegetarian burger! The burger patty is made of chick-pea which you can imagine the texture inside is soft and mushy despite the crust is slightly crispy. It's rather bland and half way through I feel a bit sick due to its flat flavour... But their sweet potato fries is worth mentioning, fried till crispy and not oily!

Vegetarians would appreciate the Chick-peas Offering (RM26) πŸ” - featuring a vegetarian patty made from mashed potatoes, chickpeas and herbs, and served between two pandan buns spread with pesto aoili.

We especially like the fried onion 🌰 marmalade that came with the patty, as well as the sweet potato fries. As meat-lovers, we thought the flavours were on point, although we do appreciate a bit of crunchy texture for the patty.

We enjoyed Therefore's contemporary spin of ayam percik πŸ”(RM29). The chicken thigh was perfectly marinated and tender - the gravy had the right amount of lemak, spices and heat.

From the team behind Foremula comes this new resto-cafe in PJ. Pretty-in-pink, this spacious cafe is accentuated with salmon-coloured walls, gold trimmings and lush flora and fauna. The menu here is an elevated take on the Malaysian-influenced fare at Foremula. Go for the popular Tom’s Yummy Two (RM21), a tom yum-flavoured pasta dish with grilled veggies. For more protein, you can add on chicken, beef bacon or salmon. Also worth a try is ayam percik-inspired I Am Percik (RM29), a tender grilled chicken dish served with an aromatic gravy and Mediterranean salad. Opt to have it with a side of rice for a more belly-filling meal.

Flavours are great – fragrant from the spices, and you get hints of char from the grilled chicken. Again, the portion could have been larger? More potatoes and veggies please.
