I decided to go budget for set meal as I decided to get meatless minestrone soup (not bad but quite waterish), chicken ham & cheese sandwich (really don't like tomato and overall i did enjoy sandwich) and bottled water ($9.90) and also free soup samples (lobster bits) I didn't aware abt it until I saw receipt lol.
Tried the new Grilled Corn Chowder Champon Style 🌽
💸 $7.60
Very chunky, creamy and yummy 👍🏻
We also had the velvet mushroom soup $8.10 and roasted pumpkin soup $6.90
One of my favourite at soup spoon because the soup is really comforting, kind of pepper-ish! Perfect for a rainy day or when your stomach is not feeling for something too heavy! Theres also substantial bits of chicken inside the stew. Opted for the steamed broccoli with dukkah which served as an appetizing side. The dukkah was really strong! If you don't fancy broccoli, I think you can also opt for other sides such as red rice and steamed corn. My only gripe is that the multi-grain bread that was served to me seemed kind of stale, which is a pity because I usually love their breads😟
The mushroom soup was super thick, every mouthful was filled with bits of mushroom. Top up with the cake of the day, chocolate cake which tastes bitterly sweet.
Featuring a traditional food of Kanazawa, Chubu; Guizoni X Jibuni Kanazawa Style. This hearty bowl consist of a Chinese style duck stew with gluten and eaten with wasabi. My kind of comfort food :)

The world before us is a like postcard, just like how a picture is worth a thousand words. I'll be delighted to share my story through the lens of Canon EOS Kiss X7 (if I win 😆). #TSSTasteJapan
Each ingredient enhances the others; each batch has its own characteristics; and it needs time to simmer to reach full flavour. - Marge Kennedy
