If you’re looking for a Korean BBQ experience in town with premium cuts, proper grilling service, and an upscale setting—without the usual lingering smell of smoke—The House Chungdam is a strong choice for sure! As part of the meat menu, Bone-In Short Ribs are not to be missed.
Authentic Korean food such as their Kimchi Jjigae Bansang as well as their own unique touch to Cheese-Potato Jeon are my favourite, if you are looking for more authentic Korean food with a new twist.
Bonus points because it's really near my office and their staff are extremely organised making the whole meal's momentum to be at a comfortable pace.

The food was delicious. We enjoyed the marinated rib eye and the pork jowl.
The wide variety of side dishes were delicious, and the server Winston was very good at cooking the meat and telling us the best pairings to go with the meat. The beef melts in your mouth and best paired with the salt or wasabi and the lettuce. The pork was tasty with the curry powder.
Enjoyed my meal here! The restaurant was well ventilated for a korean barbecue restaurant, it was an overall comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Ordered the beef set for two. The meat was really juicy, altho a little tough for me. Side dishes were good, condiments were great.
Special shoutout to the male staff who grilled the beef for us (didn’t catch his name). He took the time to explain which condiments paired best with the beef and it elevated the experience for us. The smoked flaky salt with the perilla leaf was chef’s kiss and the green chilli he introduced was surprisingly refreshing
Nice interior also and the restaurant was bright and spacious. They have good ventilation too, didn’t smell of bbq after dining here
