The Omelette Crepe caught my attention. The thin crepe omelette is served with blanched spinach, creamy avocado, sourdough toast and a choice of smoked salmon or mushrooms. All the elements on the plate were good with a nice combination of textures. One slight rant is that the smoked salmon tasted saltier than others I've had.

Decently sized portion of an omelette wrapping spinach, creamy avocado, and smoked salmon (or choice of sautéed mushroom). The omelette was an enjoyable soft and creamy mix despite being thin, and all the components paired well with the toasted multigrain bread for a hearty meal.

If you’re a lover of coffee and hearty brunch items, The Food Peeps Coffee & Deli should be on your bucket list! Their menu is filled with delectable brunch offerings including the Big Breakfast Club ($18) which comes with sourdough bread, spicy baked beans, halloumi, a side salad, and your choice of smoked salmon/ham/bacon/mushrooms with either scrambled eggs/sunnyside-up/soft-boiled eggs. If you’re after a sweeter combination, opt for the Hangover Pancake ($15) that features two sunny side-ups, baked bacon, fried onions, and a side of maple syrup.

An 8am brunch spot looks almost out of place along Sago Street, which is a sleepy route for temple-goers in the morning and buzzing with (alcoholic) activity after sundown. But Food Peeps does it well. The food is just as good as its way pricier contenders down the road at Telok Ayer. Plus they have the cutest tiny handmade bagels! Give it a try.

Conveniently located along the streets of Chinatown, I stumbled upon this cafe as I was just about to take a coffee break. Decent matcha latte but definitely can find better elsewhere. Still, a very quaint Bali-theme vibe and a chill hangout spot.

Looks can be deceiving. Though it may look simple but everything was done so perfectly that there’s nothing to fault about.

Crispy baked bacon 🥓 on top of perfect sunny side up 🍳 and fluffy pancake 🥞.
