Size M
Sushi Rice with salmon, tuna, baby scallop and octopus
Can’t remember the exact price.
I think it’s not bad. The portions of fish is quite generous. Freshness and quality solid. Good but not something that I would eat too often other than for special occasions/craving for seafood :)

Fried oysters was crumbly and served piping hot - we were lucky because there werent any leftovers on display and they fried a fresh batch for us! Otherwise, I'm not sure if the oysters were meant to be deep fried only upon order. 3 pcs at $4.50, it's simple comfort food as simple as it gets. I dislike how it's being served on disposable paper plates - that's so, so so bad on the aesthetics and the environment as well. For the price paid, food was decent

Bought this from ShopBack Go’s flash deal some time back. The set came with a bowl of yuzu kaisendon and a cup of yuzu drink.

Teppei Syokudo used to be a spot we go to quite often for the original kaisendons, but feel like their quality has been dropping quite a lot lately. The sashimi cubes were dressed in a light yuzu sauce, while the rice was plain without its signature soy. The bowl overall was quite dry and the quality of the sashimi wasn’t great ☹️ We wanted their fresh wasabi, but was told that this bowl doesn’t come with any - requests for it will require a top up. The yuzu drink was sweet and really sour.

The katsu curry was not available when I visit one of their outlet previously and glad that this outlet has it.

For a quick eat for your meal here as they have a few seats beside. Nothing much to shout for their katsu curry rice but definitely a decent bowl with generous portion of katsu and curry. $15.80

Not sure why some of the reviews here complain about the portion size. I found this quite a good portion for the price, and that’s even though I got salad instead of rice. My toppings were salmon, small scallops, whelk and squid. Apart from the squid which was a little tough, the rest of the chirashi were tender and fresh. Would definitely come back for affordable chirashi.

3.5⭐ Bought the deals from ShopbackGo at 35% discount. I used to enjoy eating at Teppei Syokudo as the portion of the Kaisen don is quite huge but disappointed when I saw the portion today. The portion has shrunk alot. 😫 WB had the curry which is average at best.

Ordered one of their signature Kaisendon (bottom bowl) and DIY one Medium Kaisendon (above). The bowls are priced affordably below $20. Don’t forget to use it together with Shopback discount + boost - adds to about 33% discount!

The first thing that caught my eye was how fresh and chunky the sashimi which I picked out was; I selected the medium bowl which enabled me to select 4 different sashimi ( salmon, tuna, scallop and swordfish). I enjoyed the meal a lot and the grates wasabi made it even better. The only complaint is probably the rice which I thought was too sticky and wet. Otherwise, I couldn't have asked for a better lunch choice!

I always like to eat their spicy sesame kaisendon although it seems that the sashimi is cut into smaller pieces than the Taka outlet (I believe it’s franchised by different ppl).

They have a special value set meal now that comes with 2 karaage (pretty big pieces) and a small cup of tea for $16.80 (usual price for the kaisendon).

$15.80. 4 choices of fish included - Salmon, Tuna, Baby Scallop, Yellow Tail. This is an M-size bowl.

Not a cheap option for weekday lunch, but it’s a bowl of quality kaisen don. Limited seating at Plaza Sing outlet.

Quality is as good as it’s Teppei Japanese Restaurant at Tanjong Pagar.

Wow I haven’t been on this app for a long long time... But anyway. Tried Teppei Syokudo a couple of days ago while I was at ION.

I custom made my own small bowl ($12.60) which has x2 servings of salmon sashimi + avocado.

The food was good in general. Both the seafood + avocado were very fresh.

However, I felt that the bowl was super small... I generally am a pretty small eater, but even for me I felt that I had to purposely slow down on my meal because it seemed like it was disappearing damn quickly?! If I ate at my regular speed, I think I would be done in 3 minutes.

Wow I sound like a monster pig.

Overall, would probably go back, but maybe not make my own custom bowl again. I’ll probably order one of their signature bowls. Maybe that would be cheaper 🤑

I love teppei syokudo! My to-go toppings are salmon and whelk! The whelk provides an added crunch, which i love

DIY chirashi dons allows me to pick only my favorite ingredients! I love their baby scallops and salmon and rice! 😌 Available at the basement of Plaza Singapura and Ion, it’s easy to get this great bowl of freshness!

🤤🤤🤤

Wagyu beef is will marinated and delicious. Overall a pretty good buy for lunch. But it is a little on the pricier side at 19.80. One of the better festive menus since the mala and unagi festive menu.

With outlets planted almost everywhere in town, this can be quite a convenient option to satisfy any Chirashi Don cravings. Pretty decent portion for a medium-sized bowl with chunky sashimi cubes.

Fresh and affordable kaisen don ($16.90). Taste is similar to the Mala kaisen don in their previous monthly special. Good alternative!

For anyone who hates raw fish, i would recommend to give this a chance! Best Kaisen Don I’ve ever had. The Mala Chips really gives it a nice crunch and the flavour is really a to-die-for. Sadly this is only on the menu for the month of October. It would be great if it became a fixed item in their menu. Great splurge option for lunch.

I LOVE crab miso, so when Teppei Syokudo posted about their new Kani Crab Miso Kaisen Don, I knew I had to get it. We were quite disappointed with the small portion of sashimi but they were generous with the crab miso, which was torched and served in a crab shell. The smokiness with the rich creaminess was very shiok! We had this to share with a normal kaisen don, which was better portioned. This don is only available till 2 December 2018!

Frequent the branch at ION. Standard used to be very high with plump japanese rice and huge servings of fresh mixed seafood. But this time round it just taste different, rice is overcooked and less seafood??😭

If you’re looking for fresh and affordable sashimi dons, look no further!

This don comes with thick, chunky pieces of sashimi coated with a layer of soya sauce.

Unfortunately, their portion sizes have decreased a little recently, but I believe it’s still the most worth it sashimi don around town ($15.80 for up to 4 types of sashimi).
