These biscuits were the best of the load I hauled home that day. A wonderful nutty aroma burst out the moment I opened it. Tasted even better than it smelt, if that was possible. I couldn’t put it down. So good.
There were 2 cakes in each bag. Soft fluffy “egg cakes” with a dollop of red bean paste inside. I bought this for the red bean paste but it was too small a dollop for me. Could get a little bit dry so best to pair with tea or coffee.
The savory cousin of the other pastries. I liked this precisely cos it wasn’t sweet. And cheap too.
I really liked this. The green Bean paste was creamy and I enjoyed this with a cup of tea.
This was on the sweet side. It would probable be too sweet for me if it was the big sized one.
This was the small one. A more manageable size than the big $3 one.
