Disappointed to find spatula is closed despite the signage say open at 12pm. So we popped by this cafe which is just a few shops away. I like the design of this cafe cosy and good natural lighting. The service staff is friendly and very cheery. If you like your waffles to be soft and a little bit of chewy then you will like theirs.
Located at frankel ave! It's a good spot for brunch. Well the ambience is Abit of the old school auzzie cafe theme. Sorta like HANS style but it feels homely. Food wise, the eggs Benedict is really well poached and of course the hollandaise sauce is good too! Bacons are quite generous in the serving. Had the banoffee french toast and i must say that it's super duper good! Presentation wise, it looks nice too! Lastly the rosti! The rosti is really dry and not oily unlike the one like in marche and of course the sausage is really huge! Good for sharing! Everything here are actually home made and they take pride in their food! Their pastries are also home made and they distribute to cafes and hotels too. Always wanted to try their croissant but it's out of stock sadly. Hopefully I get to try it the next time round. Thank you @swissbackersg for the tasting ☺️ Do head down to their ig and give some support kay?
most awful lamington ever, almost soggy and such a stingy serving. stick to the one at dimbulah.
