Swee Heng 1989 (Jurong Point)

First off, the amount of fillings is SOOOO GENEROUS. Swee heng 1989 never disappoints with the fillings. The bread is really hefty and is stuffed with yam and pumpkin filling. The fillings are pretty sweetened, but still have a natural yam and pumpkin taste. The two flavours are pretty similar so they blend together well!

The mochi is suuuuper sticky and stretchy. It's a bit on the liquidy side, which I like. The taste does get a bit overwhelmed by the yam and pumpkin, but it still provides that mochi texture.

Gonna be trying the other 2 mochi buns soon! Excited for that hehe this was a real good bun 👌

Quite average, the Parm crisp was also not crispy at all at 8pm, probably it's much better when you have it fresh out of the oven

Filling could be more generous but otherwise it's a good piece. The mochi was almost liquid, made for excellent texture. Teh tarik was almost non existent though

They dare put crispy in the name, and they lived up to it. Go swee Heng!

Unfortunately the cream cheese was too sweet and it gets a bit jelat because of that. Tweak that and this is gonna be a stunner

First time trying out this and definitely in love with the crispy garlic cream cheese bun! Only $2.50 each! 😍😍😍 Super generous cream cheese filling inside!
