We decided to try something unique on the menu at Streats and we decided to go for an Indonesian dish - Bak Mee Ayan Pangsit! The dish reminded me of wanton Mee at first glance, as it comprises springy noodles with mushrooms and deep-fried wantons, alongside diced chicken cubes. We loved the noodles as they were really springy and because the dish does not use much sauce, the noodles weren't soggy as well! The fried wanton was really crispy too.

However, the highlight of the dish was its chilli paste, which was made from sambal chilli and thus extremely potent. While the chilli provides a great kick, we would like to suggest that you don't mix all the chilli paste into the noodles if you are not good with spicy food! For $8.80++, it was a pretty decent bowl of noodles.

Streats was fairly empty when we visited on a Sunday for dinner, although this is not very surprising since the restaurant has many outlets around Singapore.
