Starbucks (Bishan Community Club)

Perhaps the first impression of this drink that comes into my mind, was whether it would taste similar to grape juices or those Qoo or Fanta soft drinks.

The answer, was “neither”.

The Ruby Red Grape Frappuccino turned out to be the grape version of a lemonade, with a much stronger taste of sourness than sweetness. The jelly at the bottom might be the culprit to the dissonance, so I was wondering if shaking the cup would balance out the tanginess a bit more. That might be the time when a tumbler could come in handy.

Well, at least I was not feeling eager to order this again next time.

I went there with empty stomach and wanting to study after some nice small meal. Ate croissant and drank white chocolate mocha, totally worth it and it cost less than $11!

The pastry is flaky, the mince meat (slide left) is moist with lots of pepper and the egg is solid.
.
However, it is not Beef Wellington. Catchy use of the name but the high end Chefs will be marching with their knifes raise to retaliate of the use of Beef Wellington name.

I prefer to call it "Atas Beef Pepper Puff".
